it was my personal experience in Mumbai.. One day I was waiting at the traffic signal..and suddenly a small child came in between when the signal was about to be turned to green .. I got down..thinking that the child may not able to cross the road in time...

the abuses hurled at me from the child as well as the ones behind my car (supposed to be educated ones) were alike... I am used to the impatience by that educated lot... but the child left me shocked for a while..

BTW, that doesnt mean I appreciate Khushi... but just thinking from the other angle..thats all... Nothing against you POV.

I agree with you Mudra, sometimes we may come across such street children but I was talking what we mostly see and BTW, you can be against my POV, when you think differently. I have absolutely no problem in it.😊

Ithasme, Khushi may be resembling KP ji in attitude but they don't share the same social background. Kp ji was not a street child. Children of educated society get this liberty of being rude to people even if they are taught best of mannerisms, but how many people in our society will tolerate Khushi's crude language and tone coming from a street child?

I agree and have written also that they speak crude language but among themselves and not with people like us. They can't afford to speak such language with us as they are dependent on the mercy of people like us for many things and please don't say sorry for disagreeing...I have definitely not posted here for people to come out to support my point. 😃 we can have endless debate but never say sorry for it.

Nupurji, they even didn't have knowledge of respect words,i pointed out that even in this type of basti where mother is beating father, cigarrate smokers children, and when khushi type chil parents also addressed their parents with singular words.like women addresses their FIL as buddha, and husband is like marad,so for them this language is natural for them.i know bec i had made a project on them.bec i was a psychology teacher.

1st thing .. street kids appreciate what they get .. esp when it comes to food ..coz they know wat hunger is .. they dont throw tantrums ..ki yeh nahi khaana vo nahi khaana ! so khushi throwing tantrums abt food is unreal !
2ndly .. street kids are very polite when it comes to talking to people who are gonna help them.. coz they know they need help ..so they cant afford to be rude ! unreal again !
3rdly .. khushi isnt that small that she doesnt know who to address with tu ,tum or aap ..
