Agree Sha...we have seen DB change her mind regarding Ashutosh and AshNi...she always loved Nidhi and wanted her happiness, so she changed her mind regarding Ashutosh given Nidhi's unhappiness w/o Ashutosh. Change has been good. 😉

I agree with you.

I have liked her character right from the beginning.

You see my grandmother was also like this.

Dadi Bua has always reacted according to her time.

People her age have this mindset. But her love for Nidhi has always been

very evident. And I knew once she accepted Ashutosh she would do it wholeheartedly.

Agreed to your thoughts!!! I love DadiBua right from the beginning... This woman has always loved Nidhi like her daughter and her happiness only has mattered the most to her. She is 2 generations above Nidhi and so can be considered as being from an old school of thoughts. Per her mindset, it's quite natural that she didnt accept AshNi relationship. She thought such huge age-gap will not keep Nidhi happy in her married life and so she wasnt happy with Nidhi's marriage with elderly person like Ashu. But, after their marriage, she has been wholeheartedly supporting them and is always keen to see to it that they never fall apart. Now, she has accepted Ashu also and very understandingly and responsibly, she puts Ashu's views forward to Nidhi... During Mallu faking illness track also, she was so much concerned about AshNi relationship's intactness & during recent separation track also, she always was trying to convince Nidhi & get AshNi back together. Love her role even more now 😊

Agreed!!! I am actually loving the new her 😛 If you really put some thought, she is a Mother to Nidhi and she has always put Nidhi's happiness before her. Her refusal to AshNi's relationship was keeping Nidhi's best interests in mind. The way she defended Ashu in Anjie's wedding was the icing on the cake. It showed her affection towards her grand daughter and her husband 😊 So yes! I love her ❤️

Lovely post. DB deserves full credit for the way she has evolved and accepted Ashni after their wedding. First her concern when Mallika stayed with Ashni and her strong defense of Nidhi's happiness then. Later when Ashu apologized, she accepted and started looking at him in a different light, then her understanding of his POV, his sacrifice of his wishes for Nidhi's sake which raised him in her eyes. Finally during the RAnji sangeet she saw his love for Nidhi and then she also defended him in front of that villagers.

During the latest separation, she has tried her best to be supportive of both of them, doing her best to get them back together and making sure things do not get too out of control. It was nice to see her consoling Nidhi and reassuring her that Ashu loved her. It was wonderful to see the warmth in DB-Nidhi relationship and nice to see Nidhi turning to her for maternal support.

@ red: I second u on this... when this separation took place, we, the forum members were badly missing ShyamaAunt as a motherly support for Nidhi; to comfort her and to convey the reason of Ashu's behavior to her... but, it was a real surprise from KPji to us that DB-Nidhi relationship grew stronger as mother-daughter relationship during this track!!! ⭐️⭐️
Earlier they both loved each other so much but there was a huge gap between their line of thinking... which usually ended up with Nidhi confronting her. This time Nidhi shared her feelings with her about why she is disappointed with Ashu and DB not only understood her pain but, also she supported Nidhi with all her motherly love and care and always tried to soothe her pain & played active role in getting her back to her hubby as a responsible elder of the family.
BB aka Senior Dr. Mathur didnt do anything considerable this time... DB took charge to see that further damage to AshNi relationship doesnt happen and best supported her bachchi & damaad and their marriage. Hats off to DB!!! 👏👏

I have always liked dadi bua...

The only time i could not stand her was when she attacked nidhi after that nidhi-rohan engagement party and when ashu was missing after the accident while returning from delhi.for me that was at her worst.all that she said,aacha hua DR faced that accident and what not...

kerela so so and when she told ashu "DR tumhare beta kehneki ummar nahi rahi"

otherwise she has played her role in line with her age and generation thinking.

her love for nidhi cannot be questioned.i mean she was so anti huge age gap marriages but she changed when it was about nidhi...

Aabhi we all love this love story,but trust me if we were to face that in real life,as in our daughter or any beti like girl saying she wants to marry a man double her age,we will surely get worried.itni asani se hum nahi accept karpayenge.we will also take time and its absolutely normal.

on those grounds i'm fine with her.esp in the current times she is just too cool.i must 👏 her ability to change her thinking.its definately not easy.
