Voted for any other..

I think, in the interests of our own sanity, it is best to watch TV shows without any expectation of any character or even the story...

I voted for No. Just now I am recovering from the past blow. Agree with Radhika.

I don't think the writer understands that when you keep bringing back the same character over and over again even if they are changed keeps people from watching.

Bringing in new characters and storylines to move a story forward is the sign of a good writer.

You are right... we will lose interest when story loses its freshness

Not really,...actually I don't have any major problem with Mallika so long as KPji keeps his word...the only thing that I cannot tolerate is a menage a trois...that is a complete no no for me...

If Mallika has really changed and her life experiences can teach Nidhi and Ashutosh a thing or two about how not to ruin relationships, I have no problems whatsoever..who would know better about how not to mess up your life then someone who has royally screwed it up...I don't think of her as Sanyasi Mallikanandini or something like that...just that a pathetic woman, who messed up every single relationship that she had, and is left all alone at a time in life when she needs people most...and I cannot forget that she is a victim of domestic abuse...for all her efforts to destory the Ashutosh-Nidhi relationship, she received karma payback by way of the abuse that she suffered from Jagan...the sad part was that she did not learn from that either...and now she is going to have a lifetong memento of her relationship with Jagan in the form of the baby...a baby that she may see as both a punishment and a blessing!

Mallika's mental set up is totally different from Nidhi / Ashutosh...
Say, Nidhi wanted to marry Ashu but ashu loved Mallika and married her... would Nidhi behave like Mallika???
100% no...hai na... then how can Nidhi or Ashutosh learn a lesson when they cannot relate them with Mallika... till now both have tried and solved their own problems... I dont think they will/can spoil their relationship by behaving mad... (I said mad because, Mallika knows that she is wrong all the while...still she chose to act that way)

I don't think it is important to relate with a person in order to learn a life lesson from them, Mudra...you can learn from anything and anybody...that is how I look at it...and again, I did not say that they need to learn her methods...on the contrary, she is an example of what they should not do...my pov anyway!

just want to share a small story with you...my maid is 28 and she is a widow with two kids,,,she got married at 15, had a baby at 16 and was widowed by 22...her husband was a drunkard and a womanizer...he abused her routinely...but for some reason, the two years before he died, he changed and started behaving good with her...while narrating her story to me, she told me she wished he had not...because that way she would only have the bad memories and not miss him so much...what she shared with me that day was a life lesson...although neither her specific situation or the person that she is are things I can even remotely relate to!

Na..na.. Sujatha.. what I meant was...

Let us look at it objectively and concentrate only on Mallika's ill fate with the child... forget about her love for Ashu or past deeds...

>> Mallika might fiercely fight and keep the child's custody with her as she doesnt want that child to be with a father who might hate him...

>> Mallika might give-in and hand over the custody to Jagan and lose that single relation on the earth too

>> Mallika's child might turn Jagan a good fellow and 'they live happily ever after'

what kind of experience AshNi get from these scenarios?

I am not asking for the argument...but out of habit... I right usecases usually...
