NO.
Exception is there. If there is a very strong reason, change can take place. As till now Ashu was Mallu's only target .She was obsessed with Ashu. But Child will give her more strong reason to live. The bonding of mother & child is above everything else in the world and her focus will change from Ashu to her own baby and thus she may try to clean her all past deeds and want to be free from all guilts.

For me it is Yes. It is difficult, but not impossible. If a person realises the wrongs he/she done to others and wants to seek forgiveness, its a matter of fraction of second...but this second comes after so much of self introspection. Here mallika tried to get into Ashu's life by hook or crook and in the process lost him even as friend. This transformation will give her chance to win Ashu's confidence as a person, if not as friend, enuf reason to change. On a lighter note, if an intern can choose to leave the career in a day and the same person grows serious and career focused in overnite, so is the transformation.

a person can change overnight based on the circumstance and incident ..but obsession cannot change overnight ...hence i find it overly indigestible mallika trying to solve ashutosh nidhi issue...goshhh...even with a child her thoughts are still on ashutosh...and her dialogues are just soo shocking...that scene should have been mallika in a a dilemma abt whether that kid is a pleasure or pain given jagan as the father...that dilemma and her resolve to raise the kid as her own etc etc...atleast such a scene would have made more sense than her still lingering over ashutosh ...

but then i am not the writer and the writer has no answer to any question regarding mallika ...he goes defensive...
