Surrogacy the solution?

Ashutosh wants a baby and Nidhi does not. This is the bone of contention now. Adoption is not the solution since Ashutosh wants to have a blood connect for the first time in his life.


We all know of surrogacy. Quite recently, Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao had a child through a surrogate. Granted, Kiran had some medical problems on account of which she could not carry a baby to term. So, am just wondering, given the age issue/Ashutosh's craving for a child/Nidhi's career ambitions, should they have a baby this way? The baby would still be theirs biologically. And Nidhi would not have to take a break from her career at all. She can continue with it for any number of years. Am sure Ashutosh would be willing to take over childrearing responsibilities and hire a nanny if need be.

Everybody's desires gets satisfied this way. Forget about the ethical and legal issues here. This is a soap at the end of the day. Being a doctor, should Ashutosh explore this option?

I don't think a conventional man like Ashutosh would go for this unless it is the last option. Nidhi has asked only for 2 years not forever. At this juncture the story does not need adoption/surrogacy issues. They are married only for 2 months. not years.

Radhika, what if two years seems like forever to Ashutosh? What if he wants a baby at the earliest?

Then he is mad/OCD. must be given counselling.

dont think ashu would even consider that.. he loves nidhi too much !

All ready the show is roller coaster. It would be still more crazy to think about adoption/surrogacy when the couple is married just for 2 months. It seems you are more interested in adopted child than their biological child.
