Kamlesh Pandey Subconsciously, yes, Ashutosh is fulfilling his desire to play father, even if it means through Mallika's child but he himself does not know it. It is a very deep, unconscious desire that I articulated through Anji in the Anji-Mallika scene a couple of days before. The real issue, however, is not the child, so please ladies, do not reduce my story to such simplistic level of conflict that the husband wants a child and the wife wants a career. Life is not that simple and neither is my story. Please try to understand, I am trying to tell a bigger and deeper story here--the reasons why couples, in spite of being lovers, come into conflict. You may get a glimpse of it in later episode(I just finished writing that scene) in a scene between Nidhi and Mallika where Mallika articulates it better than anyone else. You lovely ladies are too quick to come to a conclusion and start reading meanings which are not meant at all.
