for trustin his closest friend...for havin d longest and the most stable relationship in his life ! for not being a good person who cant see grey and black shades of ppl !

He should be too romantic towards nidhi and treat her like a queen for at least a month, not letting her do any chores.

Even when Mallika has hurt her in the past, he has always brushed her concerns aside...I still remember the line where he asks her not to overreact post the dinner at Mallika's place...how humiliating is it for a woman to be invited to someone's house and then constantly belittled...and the man she loves cannot speak up for her because he is scared to hurt his neurotic friend who has already attempted suicide..when did the man ever really stand up for her...except during the Mandira scene when he spoke for age-gap relationships...and there was an element of self-interest there...

Even during the first month anniversary, he talks of it being an important occasion for Nidhi...what about for him...granted he put himself out by asking Anji to make alternative arrangements...granted he has done things in the past like running after adrak chai, agreeing to ride a godi, dancing etc...but when have we ever seen this man crave for this girl, long for her company or tell her how much of joy he derives from being with her...when have we seen this man be consumed by his love and passion for her..when have we seen him helpless in the face of his love...it might be said that his succumbing to the love was in itself such a gesture...but he was not doing her a favour there...it was for the two of them...there are only three occasions when I recall the man being rendered completely helpless...first, when he wept because he was not there to support her during the Rohan engagement sequence and then, when he rushed to the airport and begged her not to leave and more recently, when he wept after she offered to leave...


I am not saying Nidhi has not made mistakes...she has for sure...but somehow her love comes across far better than his...particularly after the current track where we have seen her put up with the worst kind of crap in the name of their love!

I certainly don't want Ashutosh to offer similar proof...and i don't believe Nidhi would ever do that to him...but I sure would like to see more depth and intensity to their love!

Divya, going by this argument, she proved his trust was not misplaced...she confessed...she proved her twisted love for him...

So, the slap was for playing him for a fool all along...she had misused his absolute faith in her...on whether he will make an effort to punish her for her crimes vis a vis Nidhi, I doubt that...

If Nidhi placing a knife on Mallika's throat can be described a crime, then so can Mallika trying to poison Nidhi...if he can pardon Nidhi for this crime, i suppose he can pardon his friend too...I am surprised he is not permitting her to stay on and repent,...after all, like BB said, repentance is a very big thing...am sure the father-son duo would have accepted...maybe Mallika did not offer!
