Okay, I have been mourning for Ashutosh for so long...but today, after watching the Kerala epis for the first time, I feel like shedding a tear or two for Sharad Kelkar...the dignity, composure and passion with which he, as Ashiutosh, fought for his love and the grace with which he accepted Nidhi's decision...what a fine, controlled performer...and what a tragedy that he has been reduced to making braids and playing referee to a cat fight...how I would love to see a track that actually centres around this actor and challenges him to display all of his acting prowess...what a waste of a talent...this track is as much a tragedy of Sharad Kelkar as it is of Ashutosh...

I agree everything but for one... 'referee' ...

he is a passive by-stander ... not referee...

PS: please Sujata, refrain from calling Ashu1 & 2

Hey...I didn't...this post is only about how I feel Sharad Kelkar has been shortchanged as an actor by this track! There were no suffixes...

Sharad Kelkar's role in Bairi Piya was so powerful and even his cameo in Swara was very good and made an impact.

I watched a few episodes of Bairi piya. There he played a negative character. Very good performance. I did no t feel anything bad in spite of that anti hero role. Strangely here in Ktlk I feel so uneasy to watch him in the current track. Nothing wrong with the performance. must be because of inconsistent characterization. But I love his acting in episode 138 where he meets his Baba.
