It was not coz of BB leaving that he din marry.. he din marry coz he never felt the need to.. n also regarding Mallu .. he always treated her as a friend.. 😳

Agreed..May b he was a orphan and so his thoughts were little diff-but if BB was there he could emotionally give the pressure on Ashu and he might have to compromise-be it with Mallu or someone else...

Already did that... if u remember there was an epi in New Year when Ashu is in Babas makaan n recollects how BB was planning for Ashus wedding 😉

Thanks, I too did not remember the conversations between AshMa. I went back and watched the two episodes. And yes, Ashu was VERY clear with this feelings towards Mallu.

Shee is right about Mallu. Mallu does not know what love is. She thinks possessiveness is love - she kept other ladies from the hospital away from Ashutosh. She never tried to make him happy. However, she wanted him to make her happy. Selfishness, not love.

If you love someone, you set them free, if it was meant to be, they will come back to you. Which she never would do. Instead, Nidhi did that - because that was love - to make Ashu happy.

The answer is: Ashutosh is not, was not and will never be in love with Mallika. Agar hona hota toh kabka ho gaya hota. He may have married Mallika if that was Baha's wish but not of his own accord. I believe he did not believe in relationships because he lost faith due to being hurt. Not just due to Baba leaving but also due to being an orphan (That might be a great track for the future; Ashu's search for his past). But when he falls in love for the first and only time, Ashu can't help but want to make that commitment to Nidhi and have it return as well. Ashu loves Mallika as a friend and is flattered that she loves him and that's why he doesn't question her. Since she loves him, she'll never hurt him. Unfortunately he doesn't understand It's a selfish love.
