Agree with u all...KP pagla gaya hai...Had some hopes that this would be a filler track till SK was back on his feet again after the op...but looks like it is a well-thought of track...

Agreed that this is truly a strange conflict...But if it should it come so early in a couple's married life it can actually spell disaster for their relationship...Once their relationship is strengthened with time it can face any such conflict without dire consequences...Sorry but that's simply my POV...

There is no story without a problem. I understand your concern,but Ashutosh, Nidhi and Mallika are not your run -of-the-mill characters every soap is filled with, they are real people and hence complex people. Ashutosh has known Mallika longer, much longer than he had been in love with Nidhi. I do not know if you had great friendships. I have had. If somebody has been a friend for 12 years, he or she is not an ordinary person, he or she becomes a soulmate. Ashutosh and Mallika are best of friends and are the same age hence they understand each other better than Ashutosh and Nidhi understand each other. As lovers, you do not need to understand each other, you just get attracted and fall in love. Love is blind as they say. But you develop a friendship over a long period of time. You choose your friends, you do not choose your lovers. Love chooses you.Do not measure Ashutosh and Nidi with the scale of the predictable, formula relationship yards fed by ordinary soaps, try to understand them, otherwise you will always be disappointed.

Can someone guide me as to what I should understand from the above dialogue of KP??? Mallika is Ashu's soulmate - so we have to accept that she is more important than Nidhi for him? He has married Nidhi only because he fell in love with her? And Nidhi has to accept the fact that Mallika is more important in Ashu's life just becos Mallu is "soulmate". I dont know what to infer...

KPJi.. tht sucks..

let him know tht v matured watching serials like sailaab.. hasratein.. saans.. tackling the pati patni aur dost/wo angle more sensitively.. interestingly..and maturely thn he!

thrs no prob if a friend is considered as close as soulmate.. i feel more thn mallika.. Rohan has been more sort of soulmate to Nidhi.. except wen he went ahead and mixed it with luv..

if he wants us to digest mallu as bf of Ashu he needs to show gud back stories to support it... till now mallu wasnt soulmate now suddenly she has become one! huh!

What is this guy KP upto? I thought that husband and wife are soulmates,however old your friendship is yes I agree we tend to be close to them but excuse me they do not become soulmate...if he has to show all this craap why did he get Ashu and Nidhi married...what he is trying to say that it is just physical attraction which has got Ashu close to Nidhi... this guy really doesn't know what love is all about or is teaching us a new meaning of love...which I don't understand..

Please spare us I really don't know who is liking this track atleast not on this If.

I have been married for last 20 yrs been in love so I can't digest his take on marriage and soulmate thing ...

From what I understand a soulmate can be just a friend or a lover. In this case Mallika is Ashu's soulamte because they connect more and their bond is very strong but they are not lovers.

Ashu was clear on that aspect with Mallika as well because he does care for her very deeply but he cannot love her like a man does to a woman.

Rohan cannot be Nidhi's soulmate more like a pal and because they are closer in age she felt more comfortable interacting him.

It might be a younger man and older woman love story which it is but there are these other characters which are an intricate part of this story just like Mallika is a very imp part of Ashu's life.

I somehow like the delicacy and the maturity depicted in Ashu/Mallika relationship. It was brilliant even at the time of MB where at that time when Mallika was hospitalized Ashu gave imp to her rather than going out on a picnic date with Nidhi bcoz his best friend needed him at that time.

But the audience does not want o understand that connect because of Mallika's vicious nature and her antics to separate Nidhi and Ashu at that time.

Exactly - if Ashu & Mallu understand each other so well, they are soulmates - then why did not Ashu marry her earlier - when Nidhi had not entered in his life? There was absolutely no reason for not marrying.. KP has lost all logics..He says u cannot chose lovers, love choses u - and u just get married???? Wife cannot be soulmate????

Rohan came in Nidhi's life after Ashu's entering but Mallu was there in Ashu's life long bfor-it's unbelievable that in this long 12 years Mallu didn't try to express her Love and Ashu didn't get to know it or could just avoid it and remained solumate!!!From a time they r constantly butchering Nidhi's those character sides which were supposed to b the reason Ashu liked her-now it's the question why Ashu did fall in Love with Nidhi and not Mallu-just bcas Nidhi is young!!!!!

Forget the logic...I dun want to get into that-to save this show,mallu drama must b over now-i knows twists r inevitable 2 continue a show but pls bring some other things-even Rohan wd b much better idea...
