Class apart

KTLK and kya hua tera waada are the only two serials I watch, and couldn't help comparing. While in Kya hua... they show the male lead break the heart/trust/family of the woman he has been married to, our Ashni, even after being away from each other, cannot forget each other or marry another even if their bf. In Kya hua... they break all barriers and enter an illicit relation, whereas we're lucky if we get to see our Ashni even holding hands. Their Naino ki Bhaasha, subtle gestures and pure feelings make this love story a class apart. Even though we're disappointed with it right now, this classic love story makes it so different from others, wish it did not have such low trps. Really are people more interested in watching family drama and other shows more than this?

where KTLK fails (miserably) is to show the happiness.. to show the love.. to show progress ... to show good character growth ...

BV - is showing the inlaws of a girl trying to plan for her better future after her hubby dumps her

IP - youth romantic show with comic being one of the essential elements

HD - shows indira and rishi unite to beat sameer the wrong doer

Maryada - women centric.. shows women take charge of their lives

Mahadev - visual treat showing the love story of Shiv-Sati ..

u can see.. the huge difference that KTLK has with these shows vis a vis.. the dramatic- gripping - logical - HAPPY elements... no point pondering on low trps... till the makers get serious to salvage the show.. for whatever its worth..
