It was Anji's birthday party.
Everybody including Nidhi's eyes were searching for Ashutosh.Finally he stepped in.Anji ran and hugged him.Nidhi smiled.
Ashu:Happy birthday Anji..
He gave her a big chocolate box.
Anji:Thank you Chachu..
Anji cut the cake and served others cake.
Ashu:Anji..where is Nidhi?
Nidhi was overwhelmed hearing Ashutosh enquiring about him.
N:He still remembers me.
She ran towards them.
Anji:Finally Nidhi came.
Ashu:I just can't believe this.You grew so tall.
She smiled.
Anji went away.
N:Last time you said i looked sweet in my frock.Today how do i look in this saree?
Ashu:I must say..wonderful.Very soon you will get marriage proposals.
Her face became dull.
Ashu:One second.I will come now.
He went.
Ashu took a chocolate box from his bag.He brought it and gave it to her.
Nidhi was surprised:Thank you.You remembered to buy it for me?
Ashu:You are my Anji's best friend.How can i not bring it for you.But this time for God's sake don't finish it together.
They both giggled.
Ashu:Nice to see you after a long time Dr.Nidhi..
N:I became a doctor only because you asked me to become a doctor.But now i enjoy my work.It's a holy service.
Ashu:Really.
The next evening...
Nidhi went for a walk.She was surprised to find Ashutosh on the road.
She ran towards him.
N:Dr.Ashutosh!
A:Hi Nidhi..what a surprise!You like evening walk?
N:Ya..i feel relaxed...fresh air...people on the street.Nice feeling.When i don't have night duty i go for a walk.
They chatted a lot while walking.It started raining.
N:Wow rain..
Ashu also felt cool in the rain.Nidhi was surprised to see him enjoying in the rain.
She thought:Who said Dr.Ashutosh will not marry?He may be scared to get married after a bitter experience.But it's not that he does'nt believe in marriage.He is romantic.That's why he is enjoying rain inspite of being a doctor.She felt nice seeing him in the rain.
N:I think we had enough.We both will fall ill.
They smiled.They went to a near by tea shop and started sipping tea.
A:I love drinking hot tea during monsoon.
She was shivering,but she forgot the coldness seeing him sipping the tea like a cute boy.
N:Dr.Ashutosh,you are so romantic like the Bollywood heroes who enjoy in the rain.
His face became dull.
A:I love rain.That does'nt mean that i am romantic.I hate romance.
N:Why?Just because your fiancee cheated on you?
He stared at her unbelievingly.
N:I know your past Dr.Ashutosh.Forget your past.Fall in love again.Without love life is nothing.
He questioned her in a sarcastic way:Ok.You may be right.Without love life is nothing.But who will love a middle aged man like me?
She looked at his eyes:Someone who really loves you.There may be a beautiful girl for you somewhere in this world.You may not know where she is.
He looked at her face.
She was smiling.
N:Dr.Ashutosh,one day you come to my house also.
A:Ok.
At home also she was thinking of the rain scene.
N:Why i am always thinking of Dr.Ashutosh ever since i saw him?Why does he hold a special place in my heart?
She closed her eyes.She saw his face.She touched her bosom.She felt her heart beat.
N:I love DR.Ashutosh.The girl about whom i was telling him was me.I am the one who is born to love Dr.Ashutosh.

Ashutosh searched for Nidhi on the road.
A:Why did'nt Nidhi come today for a walk?Today she has no night duty.
He went to Nidhi's house.
She was surprised to see him.
A:Why did'nt you come today?
N:I was not in a mood.I'm happy that you came to our house.Please come inside.
He got in.
She thought:Dr.Ashutosh missed me.That's why he came here searching for me.
She felt happy.
A:Where is your father Colonel Verma?
N:He has gone for a meeting.
The light went off.
A:Oh!
N:Don't worry.I will a light a candle and bring it.
She went inside and brought a lit candle.Ashutosh saw her lovely face.He felt that in darkness Nidhi's face was shining like a moon in the dark sky.He could'nt take his eyes off her.Nidhi understood it and blushed.
He thought:What am i doing?What is happening with me?
He controlled himself.
A:I am going.
N:So soon?
A:I remember some important task to be completed.So bye.
N:Bye.
He went out.
He could not sleep at night.
