Ok...just need to get this out about Nidhi's family.
Firstly, just let me say I know how important family is. I would never want to offend my family and have made lots of compromises to keep peace...but...
1. Nidhi's family yells and screams at her (no peaceful conversation weighing pros and cons)
2. Nidhi is physically dragged from hospital in front of people...embarrassing!
3. Nidhi is treated like a willful teenager, not a competent adult.
4. Family forces her to leave her loved one in hospital just back from death's door.
5. Nidhi cannot tell her friends where she is going...cannot have her own phone...doesn't even know where she is being taken ...defectors have had more rights.
6. Nidhi doesn't disrespect her elders...she goes with them...she succumbs...totally gives in!!!!

Are her elders happy? NO! They are upset that Nidhi is quiet, depressed, not enjoying the resort...and she wants to be alone. Are you kidding me? After all this, not only do you expect her to give up the man she loves with all her heart...you expect her to be happy about it and not make you feel bad? Are you serious????

I guess this disturbed me more than them taking her away...the fact that they expect her to just act like it is alright and she is okay with it. How can she possibly be okay with it. She may bend to their demands to keep from being disowned, but she has a right to her own feelings, doesn't she???!!! Is she not allowed to sad that her life was just taken from her???

Dear.. if u see in todays epi.. Baba did concede that they have been a bit too harsh on Nidhi and that she needs time..! Albeit his thot process that time will help her move on is misplaced..but.. i guess such more moments can help to end this dead-lock!

Tho the sudden confrontation between Baba-Ashu mite not help.. lets c whats in store..!

And agree.. Nidhi has every right to her happiness!

They are showing that parents do not bother about their kids happiness or feelings when there is threat of so called samaj.

Story is not happening in 21st century instead its happening in 20th century.

I kind of agree with you. In this era of increasing divorce cases among even the arranged marriages, parents are not concerned about the age gap. Instead they see if the prospective partner for their kids is responsible enough that they can go through the ups and downs of like together with each other. And Ashu being the topmost surgeon of his town and an equally responsible citizen added to the fact that he has never been married before, I don't think parents should have a problem with that.

Instead the cvs should have focused on showing the opposition from the samaaj ie the relatives of Nidhi and the hospital staff and most of all Mr Solanki to both Nidhi and Ashu for their relationship and to Nidhi's baba for accepting their relationship.
