I don't think the age difference between Ashu and Nidhi is great enough to have society all up in arms. Maybe if she was 17 and he was an man of 65 or something...but she is what at least 24 and he is in his forties somewhere. That is not so great. And for decades older men married younger women. It was the norm...so don't think that society would be that bothered...maybe the family might be concerned somewhat as to age difference because he will die well before her and leave her alone and all that...but don't see them going crazy the way Nidhi's family has.

I see differences would come in more around how they would live as a couple...agreeing and disagreeing on many generational issues...working, children, friends, music, going out, etc. That's where the conflicts would come.

However, I do enjoy the concept of an older man and younger woman...it's kind of very romantic, huh?

Hey Tanu, excellent post. In my view CVs of this show have not given ample opportunities for 'log' to say anything. 'Log' has so far been defined by DB, Solankis, Mallu, Sue, Armaan and Rohan. I am considering Ashni, Baba to be the inner loop here.

I still cannot fathom how CVs decided to play with Nidhi's career in this fashion. If Nidhi was in KGH, many 'log' would have said many things right from how Dr. A is soft on Nidhi or how Dr. A laughs at Nidhi's antics, etc. Even Nidhi could have overheard things and would have questioned her logic and thought twice about this relationship when it was in its earlier stages. She would have given some thought to 'log' and it would have made her mentally stronger to go through the actual fight that she is going through right now..

I have been waiting for Ashni to have a heart to heart for ages now like how two matured adults would do. I am actually tired of even mentioning this but when will they discuss why Nidhi was removed from KGH. In my view that would have been a good starting point because Ashu himself was the first of the 'log' to raise a question!

Next I was expecting Sue would make some comment regarding Nidhi to DB. I though she would identify herself as Mallu's bhabhi. That would have been the starting of 'log' saying something in DBs ears.

But no, the Ashni relationship is strange, one of them is always on a 'switch-off' mode. The only exception to this rule was the few days after VDay when both discussed atleast part of their problems that they will face. Yes, I am talking about the park convo. Actually in hindsight this was the first time Nidhi expressed her concerns regarding their relation and both of them were getting closer. Again just like every track this exploration was cut short by the CVs by introducing the Delhi trip, accident, Nihan sagai, etc. Instead Ashni should have had many more such convos. Finally these two were talking as a couple and not like two individuals. It was a good start and CVs should have capitalized on this by allowing Ashu to convince Nidhi to get serious about her career and rejoin KGH. This could have brought them closer and more tongues would have started to wag.

In my view the rumors at KGH and Sue's venom in DBs ears would have been a good excuse to start the Nihan track...

Oh! but what's the use, script and logic were never strong points of this show. Even a regular saas-bahu show is honest to its basic concept. They have silly tracks but they are never in denial about it, but in KTLK its always been a roller coaster ride. At this point in the show we as viewers always expect the worst knowing the CVs penchant for negativity. Sorry, but that's my view for today's epi as well. With Nidhi displaying so much immaturity and negativity I am sure Ashni will split somehow...😭
