Hasina Moin's Dhoop Kinare is a play that's always been cherished by the viewers whenever telecast.Although dr.Nidhi is far more beautiful than marina but her acting isn't as brilliant as her predecessor.As far as Ashutosh is concerned he has shown remarkably praiseworthy brilliance and craftsmanship by adopting the role artistically and acting flawlessly.Pakistanis always compare him with Rahat Kazmi in terms of character depiction and self-presentation.They'll badly miss his natural hesitance

As for as Pakistani daily soap watcher are concerned they think Monish Bahl is a decisive factor for the success of the play because the natural hesitance he has got is something that is extraordinarily technical and well crafted. We Pakistani followers already know that this is a remake of one of our favourite script-writers Hasina Moin's play Dhoop Kinare in which Rahat Kazmi and Marina Khan were the leading actors. Dr. Nidhi is no where near Marina, but Ashutosh was as brilliant as Rahat Sir.

Superb post... How nice to read what the "originals" think !!! Someone else had mentioned about an interview with Marina Khan and her opinion of MB. I tried searching for it, but couldnt get the original interview ...

But this is great!! And I too have been strongly feeling that if the script had not been altered and it was maintained as original DK, MB would have loved to continue to portray Ashutoshs character with the same passion ... ..

Yes, absolutely it's a proud moment for d actor (in dis case it's MB) and his Fans when it comes from d originals...:)

i wouldnt compare rahat kazmi n marina khan with MB n KK...i loved Rahat Kazmi n Marina Khan in dk...so much that i just watched the full show right from 1st epi to 13th 5 times till now...

n why i wouldnt compare is because MB & KK made there own name with this show...people in pak arent watching them playing the role of RK and MK but they have created there own identity...

MB was great, and KK, she is going fab as Nidhi...the bubbly yet at times seriously look really suits her n i think she really was the best choice to play Zoya in KTLK...

kuddoos to all four as they are great in there own way!!!!!

MB was just superb as Dr Asutosh...his every mannerism,his every little nuances and his body language was just flawless,,,he uses every muscle in his face and body whilst his acting and that is a very hard thing to do,not a lot of actors can do that.My best scen till date of Mb as Dr Ashu has to be the in where he broke down and bared his soul to Armaan about his love for nidhi on that rainy night...that was just some super acting by MB ,even now when I see him in that scene,I can't hold back the tears and the lump from forming in my throat.
