I think this day has been coming since the day CVs decided to dismiss Nidhi from KGH. Once they did this they broke one basic rule that is required for a love story to flourish. They took away the common meeting point for the two characters to meet. What followed for the last 3 months was the two meeting in various locations which they had to, otherwise we will not have a love story. When MB signed up he thought he was going to one set but after this goof up he probably had to do a lot more traveling to shoot with his co-star. Maybe it took a toll on his already bad back and just maybe he was also not too keen in the future tracks for this show and decided to take this decision.

I also think he gave ample opportunities to the CVs, he has himself suggested many times that they bring Nidhi back to KGH which was ignored. I think their last chance was the Violin episode which went fine but the immature CVs goofed up yet again with all those age gap kiddish stuff after that. This probably was the breaking point for MB and he arrived at this decision. Maybe VDay and the episodes after that were too little too late!

This decision by him cannot and will not take away anything from what MB has achieved so far in bringing this character to life and making it so believable. Personally I had never seen any of his shows before and saw him only in a few movies. So he was a complete revelation. I was awestruck at the brilliance of this actor, the sheer magnetic screen presence, the beautiful dialog delivery (hindi, english or even urdu words), the subtle yet powerful emotions and expressions, those wonderful facial and hand gestures, a complete package almost as if he was a dictionary in acting. That said even I felt his romantic scenes were somewhat awkward and only he knows the exact reason for that. Anyways goodbye MB and good luck!

totally agree wit u..somewhere down the line the whole ktlk team slipped some steps which has brought dis disaster..might be MB thought its a perfect remake of DK and thought it will be good to remake..so he must has signed it..but goin on goin somewhere the cvs slipped and changed the story..even MBs FB page says it..he told he wants single frame, wants Nidhi back at hospital but nothin turned up..and his first interview regarding ktlk says that the script is of most importance to him..so might be takin pain and giving pain to viewers daily. he has in one go resigned..thats wat i think..
regards..

these CVs are equally responsible for making MB off becoz of illogical plot...fans & MB suggestion to CVs abt Nidhi joining Kotnis several time refused by CVs makes many off

Probably the most heart-touching and sweet reply..i have read!

This is from MB's wall.. but loved every word...(even if i disagree)

Sudha Pranav
When a celebrity quits a show, speculation and controversies are rife'. we have seen all points of view during the storm over the last two days-and we continue to see some even today.
When I heard the confirmed news last evening, I pondered over the reason for this incredible sadness that I was feeling. Was I feeling the loss of not being able to watch Mohnish Bahl every evening'.after all, like for many of you- he had become an addiction ?
Was it the rebellion within to not see anyone else in his role, which he played to such perfection ?
Was it not being able to silently admire MBians and MBistan anymore , their passion for this wonderful actor and their childlike unconditional love and adoration for him''the amazing voting over two days was a live example of this adoration-to which I too was a silent contributor'.
Mohnish-your silence has spoken volumes to us over the last month. It could not have been easy to take the call you did-to call it quits. Especially when you knew the fan following you had. Especially when you knew that you were one of the pillars of this show. Especially when you took on this role with such passion and involvement -which was obvious for all of us to see in the first 50 episodes of the serial, and then try and do justice to the completely inane script that was being given to you, and do it with such sincerity '..and elan''.which only you could have done
It surely would not have been easy for you, to exit the show, when you knew that with this decision, there will also be brickbats coming your way''in the form of improper reporting by media and personal allegations by many''''..
I am sure, many of us have been at crossroads in life, when we need to make a choice between what we really want to do, and what we are expected to do. It takes courage and strength of mind to eventually do what our heart tells us to do-what we internally feel is right.
If I admire you Mohnish for your brilliant performances 'especially as Dr Ashutosh, who is so close to our heart, as much as Dr Shshank of Sanjeevani series1, I admire you more 'for taking such a difficult decision. I admire you for doing what you believe is right.
Serials will come and go, actors will come and be replaced, there are plenty across all channels. If it is the run of the mill serial and actor we want- the choices are numerous. But we all know that there can be only one Mohnish-who is a class apart in this crowd of "so called actors" we see today. Who but him could have risen above the script-to portray romance- the way he has ? Who but him could have added those little touches to his role through eyes and actions, which portray the purity of love? Who but him could have kindled love in the hearts of so many ''through his eyes and voice alone ?
We as viewers and your fans, can only pray that you continue to get roles that tap your acting brilliance, so that we may have the pleasure of watching you over and over again. And hopefully these roles will come without the compulsions of trps which 'as we have seen, can completely ruin beautiful stories ' and characters'.
God bless you-with health and to continue to do what you believe in'.it is an extremely rare trait in this industry-and which is what makes you stand apart in the crowd

Thanks, just wanted to share my unbiased opinion. There is always two sides to a coin and running a show is a team effort. So we should not really blame one party for everything bad that happens with the show. Hopefully CVs and PH will have learnt some valuable lessons and not repeat the same mistakes.

agree yaar
I find both the party at fault😊
MB was promised a claasy remake of DK but ended up getting a crassy one😆
But his 'no touch' policy too was unprofessional😳

Read this somewhere..

Interview with Mohnish Bahl at the tym wen he opted ktlk..

You have been missing in action since Vivaah, a match-making reality show that you hosted. Why?

Call it being choosy or finicky, I had decided not to do anything and everything that comes my way. If I had to spend 8 to 12 hours a day on the sets, it has to be worth my while or at least maintain me as an actor. I didn't want to sell myself.

What prompted you to take up Kuch Toh Log Kahenge?

I liked the story, which is not run-of-the-mill and the role, which suits my age. I play middle-aged Dr Ashutosh who has tremendous problems when it comes to emotional commitment. There's a back-story to him as he is an orphan and the person who took care of him has abandoned him for some reason, which I cannot reveal at this point. Even the girl he had loved has left him. Against this backdrop, he finds himself getting attracted to a girl almost half his age. He starts questioning his sensibilities and his insecurities show up when a younger man comes into the picture.

The serial is about two people and the process of falling in love. I have never played a romantic lead in any of the serials that I have done so far. Plus, it is a mature love story, which is a refreshing concept.

Now..he has told that the girl he had loved has left him..where is she..i think the script shown to MB while signing is toltally diff from wat is being shown in the serial..the script wat has been portrayed is really makin all us sick..so many flaws..may be this is the reason for his quittin..
