Today's episode seems to be the starting point of Ashni's relationship entering troubled waters. Loved Ashu's reaction to the Mandira problem. Shows that he is ready to fight the world at large to save his and Nidhi's relationship.
But it can be seen that they have a long long way to go before they can get the world in general and Nidhi's family in particular to accept the relationship.
My heart goes out to Ashni at the thought that in this day and age also there are people like DB who put their false prestige above their children's happiness.
Ashu's reply was correct from his POV...He openly said that two people who are adults have got every right to choose their own life partners...and no one has the right to tell them what to do...But unfortunately we have to live in a society which is always ready to point a finger at anything it thinks is wrong or against social norms...
One dialogue which Mandira said was superb...when DB kept saying how she had made her family feel ashamed in society by marrying a man twice her age she openly said that people from the same society (Agra) first and foremost come to her house whenever they visit States...Except of course her immediate family...So as long as ur family accepts the relationship the world and society can go fly a kite...
Good development in the story and hope the CVs handle it well from here on...Keeping my faith in them and hoping for some exciting episodes in the coming week...
