#1 : Shehzadi aur Gulam ki Kahani - Nidhi ki Zubani :
Yes we heard it tonite.. the significance of the 'Baradari' (a monument ideally with 12 aka BARA doors -- EVEN BARA has significance ..as AF had pointed out.. with it being Synonymous with Mallu and her WAIT for her beloved aka Ashu)! Nidhi narrated the tragic yet surreal love story of the Shehzadi and her Gulam!
In one story... Ashu & Mallu were interwoven... as Mallu waited like the Shehzadi for her Gulam who never was her.. and AshNi as TRUE BELOVEDS arrived at the Baradari!
Significance, you wonder? 😉 Yes there is... that... like Shehzadi and Gulams love story FACED the wrath of societal rejection ... AshNis love too would have to PASS thru the grind! 😒
Pretty much like the story... where Shehzadi's FATHER disapproved of the relation, for AshNi too Nidhis Baba wuld be a strong and firm OBJECTOR!
Pain, Grief ... Strife ... Separation were and still are imminent 😭... both for Shehzadi.& her Gulam... and for AshNi too...!
But the EPI ...din leave the STORY of LIFE and LOVE incomplete..rather. it ENDED with HOPE 😳! Yes HOPE that Shehzadis promise of GRANTING Fulfillment of LOVE amongst True lovers...wuld COME TRUE for our TRUE LOVERS aka AshNi! 😊
As they say... 'Umeed pe duniya kayam hai' 😳... aur 'Teri meri Prem Kahani Mushkil hi sahi.. Namumkin nahi!'
#2 : KANDEELS
Yes.. darlings... KANDEELS aka LANTERNS too ... hold significance..! 😉 While Shehzadi used the KANDEELS as a symbol of her anticipation and hope of her beloveds return 😒, Chinese Culture regards KANDEELS aka LANTERNS as symbol of blessing of harmony, order and unity!!! 😳
The Baradari stay ended with lighting of KANDEELS by AshNi...thus indicating Hope that at the end of Strife.. pain and agony, Harmony will prevail!
Love will conquer all!
# 3: Jewellery :
Once before the very first time..that Ashu had GIVEN something (as in touched and returned) to Nidhi... it was a PIECE of Jewellery --- her ear-rings...! 😊 Today.. life moved a FULL CIRCLE as Ashu gifted Nidhi.. another PIECE of JEWELLERY .. . a necklace with a HEART SHAPED pendant! 😍
# 4: Raja-Titli to Shehzadi-Gulam:
Back then HE aka Ashu was the Raja.... Nidhi the vibrant, vivacious, humming and buzzing BUTTERFLY ... who led Raja to the PATH of a NEW LIFE.. LOVE and FAMILY! Today... SHE aka Nidhi was the Shehzadi and Ashu was her BELOVED aka Gulam 😳 .. who would endure the PAINS .. and SHAMES of the WORLD... but their LOVE wuld remain un-deterred and un-affected! Like every NITE has a MORNING ... every DARKNESS gives way to LIGHT read KANDEELS 😉
# 5: Symbolic WEDDING
Well from 'Hitchkichahat' to 'SHADI' 😲 ... kya jald badhegi ABADI? 😲 ☺️ 😆! Ok kidding..! Well what i meant is today.. with all FIVE ELEMENTS being present in SYMBOLIC form thruout the epi... AshNi SEALED their RELATIONSHIP pretty much in Wedding style with Ashu PUTTING ON THE NECKLACE on Nidhi ... in a WAY Marking and SEALING her as HIS forever! 😳
Thru the Epi we had ---
Air (omnipresent)
Fire (kandeels / light blinking on n off during the MANGLIK ceremony 😳)
Earth (the soil/ floor we stand on)
Water (the FOUNTAIN at the Baradari/ Tea --symbolically made from water)
METAL (the NECKLACE with the PENDANT)
and the presence of the ELDERS ...aka Nidhis Baba /DB!
Should we say.. 'CONGRATULATIONS' Mr. & Mrs. Ashutosh?? 😳😆
The act of serving TEA to their GUESTS (remember, post marriage a girl belongs first to her in-laws thereafter to her family) was again a significant and symbolic act that Hubby-Wifey were now indeed ONE!
