My analytical brain stops functioning when I read some thing like this.
I saw one program of Summet Raghavan on Jaihind TV. As per the explanation, TRP will be counted only when the viewer keeps the program on TV without changing the channel for the total period of airing including the advertisement time.
If this definition is right then when the observation window comes down from 45 minutes to 30 minutes, the probability of viewer shifting the channel should come down which should result in higher TRP.
How on earth the TRP goes down when the Window of observation or viewing time comes down from 45 to 30 minutes?
Any one can enlighten me?
