Nidhi tells him there is nothing to be embarrassed about not being able to dance. A lot of people cannot dance. But Ashutosh is not placated. Ashutosh shares his humiliation at the disco with Arman. Araman tells him that he needs to be prepared as now every time he will have to face the situation because of their age difference. Nidhi offers Ashutosh to enroll them both in the dance class but Ashutosh refuses. Ashutosh tells Mallika about how humiliating he felt last night at the disco. Mallika rubs in the age gap point between Ashutosh and Nidhi. Mallika invites Ashutosh over dinner with Nidhi. Ashutosh asks Nidhi but she is not sure. Nidhi refuses to go for dinner after talking to Anji. Ashutsoh is sad. But is happy later as Nidhi agrees after Rohan convinces her. Mallika cooks Baghaare Baigan in tomato curry for Ashutosh and pasta for Nidhi in a way to put across that they belong to different age groups. Nidhi is uncomfortable at Mallika's place especially with Aditya around. She wants to leave but stays for Ashutosh's sake...
At dinner, as per Mallika's plan she serves Ashutosh the vegetable and Nidhi the pasta. Mallika rubs it in that with their such different tastes in food, how are they going to reconcile.
