Finally got some time off and watched the episode. I ditto you on a lot of points you made in your post. After quite a while I've managed to kind of like an episode, and it actually feels nice this way :)

Nidhi&Ashutosh: To be honest, I could not fathom the way she fell in love but I have to agree that her current behaviour was expected. And thankfully, this time she actually made me laugh (although she was a wee bit irritating but anyways). The way she kept touching her hair and bobbing around so that Ashutosh would atleast take some notice was jokes. I laughed out loud so hard when she went "Baar baar chehre pea ate rehte hai...soch rahi hoon KAAT doon" and Ashutosh's nonchalant "Aapke baal hai..aapko jo karna hai aap kar sakti hai" 😆

I really liked the fact that Ashutosh was not perturbed by anything. It looked like he pretty much couldn't give a damn about her hair or anything else for that matter. Also loved his "W*F" expression when she stopped him and asked him to look if anything was stuck in her hair...😆. Sort of temporarily redeemed Ashutosh for me after the alarm clock talk; looks like sanity has returned with Ashu's return to the hospital. And for some reason, I really like this stoic faced and brooding Ashutosh as opposed to the one last week who was forever flashing his pearly whites in every scene.

It actually felt like the AN scene was shot separately, there weren't any long shots showing them in the same frame...😕

Mallika&Ashutosh: One of the best scenes of the episode. It was amazing how Mallika came in like a raging bull and went off at Ashutosh like a firecracker ' but her behaviour was completely justified. Despite the fact that her personal grudge may have been a key reason behind the way she reacted, her argument was sensible and professionally apt. Undermining Mallika's position in the hospital is clearly something Ashutosh should be careful about, she's a well established doctor and most definitely deserves the respect. Very well written scene with great dialogues and brilliantly executed by both the actors.(Is it just me or did MB look extremely HANDSOME in the scene?)

I also really really liked the beginning of the scene with Ahsutosh talking to Dr. Agarwal about his leg - such minute details are generally not shown at all and I'm glad the writers took it into account.

Mallika&Suhasini: My ears start bleeding and my head starts spinning whenever Suhasini opens her mouth. So damn irritating! Needless to say I had to fast forward my way through it.

Nidhi&Mallika: LOL...I didn't expect it, but I loved the way Nidhi chided Mallika and gave her a "barah saal" ka taana. Haha! Nidhi really has some guts I must say. But if looks could kill, Nidhi would have dropped dead in 5 seconds flat, thats how outraged Mallika looked..😆

Anji&Nidhi: I may criticise and disapprove of anything in the show but the Anji Nidhi scenes are always endearing and adorable. I totally love Anji, she's so sane, rational and sensible and I love how she talks (or atleast tries to talk) sense to Nidhi. The way they interact, the language they use, the tone of their voices, everything is so perfect and in sync - completely how two best friends in the real world would interact. Extremely well written and beautifully portrayed by Ishita and Kritika...👍🏼

Fairly good episode overall. Pretty balanced in terms of content and good work by the cast in regards to execution. Precap is just weird - I really wonder why Ashutosh does not feel awkward with all this, Nidhi is not his friend or his acquaintance, she's an intern at his hospital - wouldn't you feel odd if a junior came upto you asking you to wear something they have chosen? ...Sigh, anyways she has managed to barge into his house and change his curtains, so I guess this is nothing compared to that.

Yeah, I agree that it could have been said in a more decent manner but I think thats just the way Mallika as a character is. She does not ponder over the situation or think about it, she just reacts in the heat of things. I think it was obvious previously when got offended with Ashutosh in regards to letting Nidhi in the OT. Additionally, maybe the fact that she has been friends with Ashutosh for so long gives her the liberty to talk to him however she wants to. Overall, Mallika seems to dominate Ashutosh a lot, she needs to cut the poor guy some slack and back off a little bit.
