@Armu4eva

Tanu I agree with both ur points...the suddenness of Nidhi's attachment and her reason to return to the hospital...I too was a bit skeptical about these two points...

As for the sudden attachment well if we go by Nidhi's nature she was shown to be immature from the start (remember her asking God to fail her?)...so her sudden reversal of opinion for Ashu can be attributed to her impulsive nature. But as yet she is not realising that it is love...In fact it is Anji who keeps drumming it into her head that her feelings are love and she is still confused about it...Lets hope they show that Ashu's maturity has a steadying influence in her life and changes her from an impulsive girl into a responsible doctor who will be dedicated to her chosen profession. It has often been seen that in some cases love does have such an influence...

On the other hand Ashu acts true to his age and has shown some very mature emotions from Day1. He needs Nidhi's naughtyness to make him come out of his introspectiveness...But the coming together of two such diametrically opposite personalities, and that too with such an age difference can be quite problematic...Lets see how the Cvs develop this relationship when it does arise.

So far the show is going great guns and hope it continues likewise in the future too.

Yep thats been a big saving grace.. that Nidhi herself hasnt acknowledged whats going on with her... !! But even if someones opinion changes.. about someone.. i dun think in a normal world or even in the soap world..we have seen such sudden turn of events..!! The worrying bit during accident.. chiding him..was all proper...but the making tea...thinking on him n smiling... the desire to return back to the hosp to clear her confusion ...i feel that were not required..!! Even if she is immature.. she mus b a dignified person😳 who has manners n who knows where to draw the line..!! (While saying this.. the romantic in me.. has no probs with anything thats been shown in th show.. for that matter i myself wuld luv to push Nidhi towards Ashu..with both ma hands) 😆

I agree on the second half of ur post... its gonna b a challenge for the CVs as to how the duo come together.. n what makes them want each other..as partners..!! 😳

If they stay true to the story, that would be great. Adding twists just for TRP's is what I am concerned about. Hope they don't do that. A simple story can also capture viewers attention; I hope they don't go crazy with Mallika's jealousy. I haven't watched DK so I don't know how crazy Mallika is in the original.

@ Sari

I too am worried about them going overboard with Mallika's jealousy.
DK was very aesthetically done and was a very simple love story which lasted only for some 50 or 60 plus episodes. But if they stay true to the Indian soap formats and try to make this into a 200 plus episode show I am afraid it may drag and may ultimately lose its charm. Just have to wait and watch I guess. Kamlesh Pandey has so far been doing agood job with screenplay and dialogues...etc, so lets keep our fingers crossed for the future also.

Sheena.. was pretty overboard.. i dun find anything subtle in it except that her character was played pretty icily by Badar Khalil... here Rukhsar has added more humaneness to the whole character!

I dunno why ppl read sooo much into her jealousy... in real life too.. ppl when scorned can go to any level to get back n possess what they think belongs to them...😕

For eg. recently theres been a case in Delhi.. where an ex g.f has burnt ALIVE her ex b.fs fiancee out of pure jealousy that he has left her n gotten engaged..!! While m not making comparisons but i hope ppl here relax a bit...!

I haven't seen the original so I am just going by what they have shown in this one. Hiding a file this early in the game is a little overboard I thought. Yes, people do overreact especially someone like Malliks coz the clock is ticking & not in her favor Her s-i-l is not making it easy for her. I am sure she feels threatened by a much younger girl.

@bold- exactly sari😊
Mallika has already spend her 12 precious years wooing this man who seems to be affected by an intern who had been there for 2 days(?)Confused so she is getting desperate
Even in DK , sheena hides the file pretty soon
@tanu- the forum refuses to accept my 'like' for ur post 😭

sheena was psychotic in DK...mallika is more human compared...and sheena hated zoya from the moment she set her eyes on her...here at least the hatred spurn from the time she senses a warmth between aashu and nidhi...and as said the constant nagging from her SIL is not helping either ..it is just hastening the push over the edge of reasoning for mallika...no person can remain unaffected by constant nagging and talks and with the rise in insecurity ,the desperateness you see another girl threatening what you assume to be yours...any normal person would lose it...

mallika is as real as any woman can get...12 years is not easy waiting and loving a man who has told you he has no feelings for you other than platonic ...whatever be her reason for waiting still...and also hiding a file is not early...all mallika wants is to get nidhi out from hospital for incompetence or prove to aashutosh she is one ..so that whatever is blossoming between them can be nipped from the bud...she certainly is not going to wait to play her moves after untill they fall for each other...she is ashu 's best friend and a woman in love...she can sense the change even if aashu may not have realized it...the same way anjie has even if nidhi has not realized it...

and i know people who may have spend decades as friends but it takes them an instant to fall in love with strangers ...everything in this world is not logic or scientifically proved...events occur that makes no sense but they are as right as can be
