Another fab episode *touchwood*😆
Thoroughly enjoyed it! And with an unexpected twist in the end! This show is clearly carving out an identity of it's own different from DK👏👏
Anjie is adorable...I honestly like her much more than DK waali Anjie...sorry DK fans😆...she's more spontaneous than DK waali Anjie and a better actress...the opening Anjie-Nidhi scene was very nice with the way Anjie told her that I know you better than yourself and I know when you're lying...LOL
I loved how the earring topic was handled and that Nidhi herself didn't make a big deal out of it👏👏👏...THANK YOU KTLK waalon! Cuz I never liked that bit in DK. ...Anjie's reactions were nicely put in to point out the subtle and the unsaid...that there is a change in Nidhi somewhere but not overt...nicely shown.
Ashutosh thinking about Nidhi and all that he said to her was nicely shown too...another refreshing touch compared to DK...they didn't show it in a "oooh he's in lurveee" kind of way but rather subtly in that it's on his mind...all that he scolded her about first at night...it's on his mind...somewhere her decision is weighing as much on his mind as on hers...it shows that she's subtly wormed her way into his thoughts somehow without this being made a 'romantic' thing per se at this point...I liked how this was juxtaposed with Nidhi thinking through the night as well and the dialogues were good too...
Then later on in the morning when Ashu is thinking about some lighter memories with Nidhi...the skeleton scene😆...that really was adorable and this time he couldn't help but smile and laugh reminiscing about it...veryyy sweetly shown...MB is fantastic as always...and his convo with Mallika after that as she tries to asks him what made him smile but he doesn't tell her...interesting subtle touch again...Ashutosh internalizes a lot.
I liked the bit before that in his scene with Ranga too where Ranga is surprised to see him asking if Nidhi is in yet...lol...ofcourse Ashu asks it all business-like but Ranga ke dimaag mein kahin ghanti baj gayi😆...I liked that they used this subtle device to show that Ashu's waiting for her to show up but trying not to be obvious about asking it.
I liked the father-daughter scene at the breakfast table wherein he frees her from the obligation of keeping her mother's last wish...subtle and poignant scene again...Nidhi's dad is awesome as always...even earlier in the scene with Anjie's dad.
I liked the symbolism they showed of Mallika walking out as Nidhi walks in...and then ofcourse the AN scene in the cabin...they totally threw me off with the ending...so didn't see that coming...so Nidhi decided NOT to pursue the profession...that is a MAJOR difference from DK cuz that never happened in DK...so now I'm intrigued to see how Nidhi gets back to the hospital.
Precap is very interesting too cuz it shows Nidhi's surprise at how much she herself is missing the hospital or being a doctor...I'm intrigued to see how she comes about the realization of wanting to be a doctor again...this show is getting more interesting by the day :-)
I'm really quite thankful at this point that they didn't make Nidhi fall in lowe with Ashutosh over a pair of earrings and that her decision to be or not to be a doctor is not being romantically influenced either. 👏
