Request to stop merging threads ...

Hello to the mods,

Just my sincere request to stop merging threads that actually have material longer than 3 sentences.

I am sure there are daily discussion threads, and then maybe there should be daily gushing threads or daily news thread? If there can be multiple posts on gushing, news or 3 line posts, why are legitimate posts merged?

Every poser on the forum has the right to express their opinion, and sometimes people like to discuss differently on different threads.

This is my protest against, nureat's post being merged into another thread. It is a major disservice to those who are in both the threads.

It would be great if that thread was un-merged and given its own separate space it deserves on this wonderful forum :)

Where is Nureat01's post Mru? I have been looking for it. Yes please do not merge Nureat01's post it is different from all the other posts. We actually discuss the show in her posts

Yep.. agree.. Mods... sincere request... pls.. let the discussion threads stay..!! Merging threads ends up ..creating confusion. .not to mention.. good analytical posts getting lost in transit..!!

Nureat01's post isn't like any other posts that it can be merged. It actually dissects the show piece by piece/scene by scene, which not only makes it an interesting read, but also a relevant place to discuss the different aspects of the show, characters, which cannot be discussed in the daily episode discussion. Without comparing other posts, I too feel like this post deserves a stand alone place in this forum and not be clubbed with the daily/weekly etc generic discussion threads.

Out of curiosity I would like to understand what is the criteria for stand alone posts in this forum? One cursory glance at the entire forum and I cannot help be think that maybe if Nureat01 had given a more colorful title to her posts, it wouldn't have come under the radar (?)

i agree with u Mru...great initiative..i also got confused today morning when i was searching for nureat's post and found it somewhere else...plz mods give it a look...plz don't merge the threads...everyone over here have the right to express them...but i will say that if the content is fully similar then to merge them to stop the incovenience...=
