When you re-boot a show the basic expectation is that the writer looks at the evolved character sketch. Dev had grown as an individual, and so had Ishwari, both had learnt from their mistakes. Were they perfect and did the redemption they sought was absolute, of course, no. But they learnt and improved. Sona learnt to trust Dev too.

Now in 2 or 3 or X years of living together (clearly the writers don't bother with the timeline why should we?), all are back to square one or dare I say, regressed.

50 episodes would have made perfect sense and should have been advertised as such. A hot mess with Dev as Devdas, Sona as bechari naari, Ishwari as Dev ki mahaan ma is just too much.

You may not like Dev, Sona or even Ishwari of Season 1 (pre-leap strictly for me) but you could understand where they were coming from. They were comfort characters for many people and made KRPKAB what it was, a common story with a unique treatment.

These people in Season 3 are a pale grotesque shadow of what Dev, Sona and even Ishwari were. I did not get my hopes high but this abysmal low for a once-adored and deservedly so is a travesty and tragedy.

All 3 daughters know how their mom is. Most of all them want their marriage to remain in tact. They don’t want hurricane Ishworry 😉🤣 enter & destroy their marriage
