Actually that is what happened. She was the one who piped up that she wants to see Ayush when Dev brought her to Rohit's house.

Just an opinion...

Sonakshi is being ignorant like na typical step mom may be because she trusts her instincts that it may not be her child.

Practically all Rohit appearance is been bizarre and strange.

As Dev seems to be wealthy man, he must be targeted by Rohit as a conman and the child is clever so he's been trained.

Concept like this has been seen before in surbhi jyotis serial "koi laut ke aaya hai"

Honestly its not ignorance on sona's part, its a kind of trauma that she is facing. Sona's pregnancy was traumatic itself, due to her failed marriage. When Sona had no hope, thats when Suhana came as a ray of hope, she gave a purpose of life to Sonakshi. She raised Suhana with a constant fear of maybe being taken away by Dev's family, which she handled with maturity when the time came. She spent over 9 years taking care of suhana, and one day she suddenly gets to know that this is not the child she gave birth to all, the child is some one else, its not easy to absorb this information and top of the sonakshi has no support from what I am seeing, Dev is stuck in his own turmoil, Ishwari is trying help Sonakshi to accept Ayush but is failing to understand what she is going thru as a mother! Usually Asha used to be Sona's go to person but she is not there anymore. So Sonakshi is really stuck between her own emotions and doing right by both of the kids. The situation is very complicated and her emotions are pretty understandable. I deal with patients dealing with similar cases. so her characterization for me is pretty on point. But I cant understand Ishwari at all! like out of all Ishwari should understand a mother's fear of loosing her child cause she went beserk when he got married b/c from what I can see what Dev is to Ishwari is what Soha is to Sonakshi but Sonakshi is more mature, righteous and level headed than Ishwari. However it will take time to get around the situation

A mother is born the same time a baby is born. The bond between a child and his/ her mother grows with time. Giving birth to a child doesn’t necessarily makes one a mother and you can be a mother with out giving birth.

Suhana made Sona a mother. Emotional bond they share was not formed in a day. It is natural for her to be concerned about Soha because she is and always will be her mother.

Ayush might be her biological child. But to be his mother she needs to be able to accept first it herself. Even the boy wanted to call her his aunt which is natural. The family atmosphere right now is not helping since she is getting pulled in from the opposite direction. What they need is time. With time she will learn to be his mother and hopefully find the right balance.

I don't blame her, Ayush may be her biological child but it was Suhana that she raised for 9 long years believing she was her own. How do you expect her to suddenly go and believe Ayush is her own son when he himself calls her aunty? She didn't ignore Ayush because she didn't feel anything for him, she was just protecting Suhana from the kind of partial behaviour Ishwari exhibited today.

You don't become a mother by just giving birth you know, and here it's not even her own fault, it's not like she knew the babies got exchanged.

Even though Ayush is her own blood she loves Suhana more so her behaviour is understandable, you can't compare a 9 year long bond with a 1 day revelation.

If Sona unable to accept the fact of baby exchange then she should consult her doctor who delieverd the baby and dna test etc to find out truth and accept it. Instead just watching ishwari and getting frozen, the most traumatized now is ayush and suhana will be next...For shake of both kids, she should be strong, if ayush is their son, they should reveal to Suhana as she will come to know somehow..they dont know how she reacts...Sona was strong character, writer letting down this character as well...Writers are messing up with every episode.

As Jatin into action, hopefully he uses his brian put some light on this diaster.. Looks like viewers should put brain aside and watch the serial, it applies most of ITV serials..
