When seeing any child who went through tragedy , there is no mom too , there is a way adults must handle them.

Sona’s behavior is not right

She should show “ empathy” to Ayush not because she is lost son , because he is child who is facing trauma in life let it be any child we must care for them

That is her problem “ trust issue”

Dev will never leave Suhana , she will be always his daughter one trait of Dev is great , he loved every one he tried to please every one but failed .

Sona never trusted Dev in season 1 until they reunite back now there is situation where she must trust him that Suhana will be always his daughter she is not trusting him.

Be it anybody’s son , he is almost an orphan , saw his father dying , be kind to him

Just give a hug not as mom as fellow human being

I think Dev is going snap at her soon

This is the same repetition of Ishwari when Dev married Sona. Ishwari too was torn being the mother of Dev to seeing Sona with Dev. She felt like Dev was replacing her with Sona.

Sona too is feeling the same way. She feels like Suhana is being replaced with Ayushman. She is not ready to accept that fact that Ayush is her real son, that what she had known all these years were not the complete truth. Sona is facing the exact same thing(just a different flavor of truth) as Ishwari. And Sona is behaving no different than how Ishwari behaved right after Dev and Sona's wedding.

There is difference

Dev was Iswari’s son but Sona was daughter in law who she saw as a threat .

In Sona’s case a difference there

Over here both them are children

On top of that supposed to be her son

Truth must be told to Soha in a loving way , assuring her she will be always their daughter

She will be shocked and sad but she will understand it .

Because it's tough for Sonakshi too. She is also shocked by this "truth". She has known Suhana to be her daughter for so long. Way longer than Dev or Ishwari. She was broken when Suhana came into her life & since then she has placed her world in her. Obviously she's more attached to Suhana, more concerned about her than Dev & Ishwari. It's been... only like 2 days since she got to know Ayush might be her son? It's going to take some time to believe that for her. Her life just turned upside down. She needs time to come to terms with all that. Deep down she most probably is still hoping for all this to be a lie/misunderstanding. Right now she's somewhere between denial & realisation. And there's no one whom she can talk to, discuss it out. Not even her own Mom this time. Ishwari is pressuring her to dance to her tunes & Dev is... well being Dev. She is tensed, she is scared, she is in denial.... everything is getting bottled up inside her & she is trying her best to keep its lid shut. Worrying for Suhana comes naturally to her as that's how her last 10 years has been. She is not doing it consciously. For Ayush, she needs to make some conscious efforts & she can do that only when she gets herself in control. She is shying away from embracing Ayush so readily like Ishwari not because she doesn't want to accept him, but because she is not in a fit state to that right now & she is afraid that she might actually end up scaring him away. She needs some time & some emotional support, which she is unlikely to have amidst this chaos.

Dev was Ishwari's reality. She saw herself based on who he was to her. When Dev's world changed and there was a addition, she couldn't accept the new reality. She felt like she didn't know who she was. She struggled with the new and old reality trying to define who she was, if she was no Dev's mother. Dev was the result of all her hard work, he was her accomplishment. This is how she defined herself.

Sona is in the exact same place. For all this time Soha was Sona's reality. Sona defined herself based on Suhana. Suhana was her accomplishment, the result of her hard work and now she is trying to come to terms with the fact that her reality is no longer real.

Like I said, it is a different flavor of truth, but it is nevertheless the truth that both Ishwari and Sona are struggling with. The exact situation maybe different, but the emotions and fears they are bringing forth are pretty much the same. Both are gripped with the same fear -- their place in their child's life.

I don't compare sona with ishwari in that way

I rather think that sona is comparing her situation with soha ..... Like how when their relationship was in open and after marriage how ishwari behaved partially.... On Dev's face she was trying to show everything normal but in his absence she made sona feel outsider... remember in one of the episode in S1 after their marriage, when dev said don't jump into his family matters , she left home... So she can understand how ishwari might differentiate between ayush and soha and make soha feel outsider...

She is not at all worried for Dev's love or her love for soha...and ayush being their child , they are bound to love him , sooner or later...just that sona need more time coz her relation with soha is much longer than dev... She is just worried for ishwari's behaviour
