Suyash, I agree that cleaning floors may not be directly related to parenting, but clean floors are needed when you have a child. Mrs. Mandol is thinking about when Saunita starts crawling and how she can pick from the floor and eat. 😆 . As to what they are trying to show Mrs. Mandol doing, I think it is directly related to Sonakshi and Bijoy. When Bijoy questioned Dev or asked/asks him to do something, Sonakshi doesn't support her husband and say that he is doing his part correctly. She becomes dumb and lets Bijoy go ahead with this rant. The makers might probably show Ronita supporting Saurabh in front of her mother and saying that he is taking very good care of her and that she shouldn't talk to her husband like that. It is to show how Sonakshi failed as a wife to support her husband in front of her father. 😃. That cleaning was also to show that women don't necessarily enjoy the cooking, cleaning, etc tasks.
