By the way Suchi Pridhvi Vallabh is not Mytho genre. It is a historical. And I certainly like to see him in one such role. Anti hero is not in my list.

Suchi, I am also dying to see him in a negative role, maybe a double role with one negative and one positive character will be superlative- that way I get twice the Shaheer too:)) He will pull off a grey shade so awesomely.

I was rewatching KRPKAB and I have a question. In the beginning of the series, when Sonakshi comes to IN, Ishwari feels that Sonakshi was not really doing anything but was taking money, kind of like doing a scam. But as time goes on, she with Dev and The sisters help like the reports and other things gets to know that Sonakshi was indeed doing her job. That she knew what she was doing. Even post leap, when Ishwari deals with Khatri, she gets to know the details and the truth. Even when her health is visibly fragile like she has bp and other problems, somehow her kids including Dev didn't really keep truth away from her. They most of the time told the truth. Even when they did something wrong, they revealed it and tried to make amends. And most of all, Dev thanks her every single time she did something for him or his family.

In Bose house, most of the time, they talked about truth and honesty and transparency. Yet most of the time, they hid the truth from each other, especially Bijoy.

When Khatri issue happens and is resolved, the first thing Dev tells Ishwari is that we should thank Bose family. And then invites for dinner where Ishwari too thanks her for all the things she(Sonakshi) did. When Dev saves Sonakshi after her accident, Bijoy never really thanks him nor does anything to show their gratitude. He just acts as though it was Dev's duty to do what he did.

My question is why Sonakshi never really told Bijoy of all the things Dev did for her, for her family. All of those things which wasn't really his responsibility. Like she doesn't tell that she switched off Dev's phone without his approval which resulted in him losing business and the money associated with it. But only tells that Dev broke her phone. Why did she never feel comfortable enough with Bijoy in telling the truth. She was so eager to show Dev and Ishwari the mirror, tell them how and why they were wrong. But was not ready to show Bijoy the mirror and question him. Why did she never tell him the truth regarding the jewelry theft in her house even after knowing the truth. I mean when Bijoy instigates Dev after the incident and the huge fight starts, why doesn't she tell Bijoy that Dev didn't steal and stop the fight. Why does she continue the fight and tell Dev to get out.

Most important question that keeps going in my head is why no one really bothers to tell Bijoy the truth. Why do they just let him live in his assumption world wearing pink colored(any color of his choice 😆 ).

Please help.

She was so eager to show Dev and Ishwari the mirror, tell them how and why they were wrong. But was not ready to show Bijoy the mirror and question him. -Shaavi, simply because, Ishwari to some extent and Dev always, was WILLING to be told that they were wrong, they did not think of themselves as perfect, flawless beings. So it was never a problem fro them to accept that they were wrong. They were WILLING to be shown the mirror. Now, how can you do the same with a man who chooses to close his eyes tightly whenever he comes across a mirror😆????

When I was young, my mom used to tell me a proverb. It was something like this. A cat closes it's eyes when it is drinking milk. By closing eyes it assumes that no one can see it.

What you said is very true. Bijoy is like that cat who assumed that if he didn't see the mirror, it was because he was never wrong.

But can a person really spend their whole life without seeing a mirror?. No matter which book or real life examples we take, somehow or other the truth comes out. We see both benevolent and tyrant person are remembered alike. For example as much as we remember Gandhi or Abraham Lincoln we also remember Hitler or Saddam Husain. If the first type of people are famous, then the second group of people are infamous. Both are extremes. If we say we should learn from the first group and try to emulate them, we give examples of the second group to say that these are the things a person is not supposed to do. If the first group is remembered fondly, the second group is remembered as a nightmare, one that we hope is never repeated.

Either way these two groups were still shown the mirror and had to face the truth in their own way. Two of Gandhi's sons disliked him. They didn't want to follow in his footsteps and said that to him. There were people who didn't believe in his teachings. He was held responsible for the separation of India and Pakistan for which he was shot. Saddam towards the end had a painful life where he was kind of sick when he was arrested. Then he was tried and found guilty of crimes against humanity for which the punishment given was death.

This is just one example. I feel if we look at all those people who were there before us, we will somehow find that each one of them had to pay their due and face consequences of their actions. And I like the way the makers laid the foundation for Bijoy. For all the things he did, he without knowing started to create a bubble around him. And after the bubble comes the mirror walls of his actions. It is like a ticking time bomb. All it needs is one tiny pin or something that has a sharp edge. One prick and he will have no choice but to face the truth, the consequences of his actions.

In Harry Potter, in the last book where Hermoine learns about Horcrux, she tells that it is the most horrible thing and the biggest mistake any wizard/witch can do. And adds that fixing it is almost impossible as the person is supposed to feel true remorse and repent for what he/she did. And that has the capacity to kill that person. I feel it is the same case with Bijoy. Without thinking of the consequences of his actions, he was in such a hurry to assume that ALL his actions were right. He not once stopped to think or retrospect anything. But when the bubble breaks and he is faced with the truth, will he be able to accept it. Or will his story be like that of Voldemort and end in that way.

Actually CVS always target Dev and ishwari in this show, according to them bose family is a perfect family who everytime will show the mirror to dixit family.
Frankly I never liked bose family ,dixit family r far more real and better family than them
Dev's family r facing trouble from their childhood , where sonakshi's family faced nothing so frankly there is no comparison between them .
I don't know why sonakshi sometime behaves so stupid😆
Dev you r a mommas boy , your family is so complicated , auntiji is so possessive like seriously u r behaving like u dont know this things before getting married , even I think she fall in love with him and agree to get married with him after knowing this problems. Then why all time she always blabbering this nonsense.

No comments about mr perfect bose because I can't finish in few lines how perfect and great he was

On a serious note, I can even take this meaningless role reversal drama even though I strongly believe that these two can very well balance their personal and professional lives with little compromise and good planning considering the freedom and resources they have. The thing which I am not getting is what is the need to show this guy like a one man army as if everyone in their family is dead.

I have not seen Sona also doing all this work for their kids all these days till now which they were making him to do on his first day of his new role. On top of it everyone's unreasonable expectations and discouraging taunts. What a perfect recipe for daily soap. But issue here is even Gopi bahu didn't struggled this much and have not gone through these many agniparikshas like our poor ML. Such mey our show is unique.😆

Latha, watching krpkab again 😃 , I feel what you said here was the intention of the makers, of showing how much expectations Dev was facing. In the initial marriage phase, everyone from Ishwari to Sonakshi to Bijoy, expected him to be perfect in each of the role he was playing with them. Ishwari wanted him to continue being the perfect son, Sonakshi wanted him to be the perfect husband, Bijoy expected him to make Sonakshi his one and only priority. At that time too he was like a one man army trying to fulfill each and every person's wish.

In season 2, this expectation was literal. It was like they had already decided that Dev WILL go wrong in his attempt. That he was not really good at anything. And that came out the way they showed. It is all about being human(making mistakes and learning from it) as opposed to assuming that they are perfect and god(like Bijoy, Sonakshi and Ishwari who assumed that they didn't make any mistakes).

That is why in the end, everyone around them, the whole nation kind of accepted his words and actions as a model and not really Sonakshi's or Bijoy's.
