The kids require their parents 247. Shubh is just 5 months old and Soha too doesn't get their required attention, although she doesn't demand it. And they did try to manage things together right when both were working...and ended up with Soha going missing and Shubh crying nonstop. There will definitely be times when neither of them will be available for their kids in future too. Everytime toh Dev won't be able to leave meetings to cover up for Sona's absence at home right, neither will Sona. So I think this role reversal is pretty logical.

As for Dev being passionate about his work...I believe him to be a character to be passionate about whatever he does. This role too he will perform with full dedication. And as for Vicky managing the business, I don't there was any other option left for him. And tomorrow even if Vicky dubaaos the company, it's his headache. It'll be Vicky who'll lose. Though I don't think that will really happen, but Vicky can always come up to Dev for his advice. And even if he dubaaos the company, Dev is that capable of getting back on his feet.

The bread earner of the family is now Sona. And I think by now Dev has earned enough to last him a lot more years to come by now. He has achieved whatever he has to. And him doing it for the sake of his wife, is what I really liked. I was of a different opinion earlier, I agree, but i found their reasoning quite logical. And when they showed this contrast with Vicky-Elena, Ill have to admit that I liked it.

And this change is I'm sure not permanent. Once the kids grow up, Dev can resume work right.

The only drawback I find in this whole plan is that the kids will be not receiving as much love from Sona as they should. I believe a mother's love nobody can replace. I hope this decision doesn't impact Sona's relationship with Soha-Shubh.

But other than that, I am with writers on this track.
