I dont think Erica would actually have issues shooting with the kids. I mean portraying the role of a full fledged mom. Cos she did do that post leap till the time Dev met Soha. I remember reading a theory that they probably introduced this track to not show too many scenes where Sona is being shown as a mom to two kids cos Erica might be apprehensive about it but am not sure am convinced with this theory. Either ways, whatever the truth is, whether its Erica having issues or the writers not doing justice, the writers have done a terrible job portraying Sona as a wife and a mother for ages now. She looks more invested in her relationship with Ishwari and thats blasphemy 😆 Which is why I hope the writers compensate and we get loads of scenes where we get to see the tender and emotional side of Sona. Independent, ambitious, career-oriented doesn't mean you dont show emotions or dont romance your husband. I really want scenes where they co-parent together, spend time with each other as a couple etc. instead of just showing Dev taking care of both the kids (which is super cute no doubt) and Sona attending one meeting after another 😆

No me too. I didn't either. Could'nt really connect to them plus Erica really does not look like a mom to such a big child. If Soha was 2-3 years old it would have still looked plausible to me :/

Frankly in initial s2episode Erica acting doesn't look like caring mother , I think she was more used to look like a pride daughter and a bussiness woman that's why I couldn't connect with soha - sona bond. But In other hand I love dev-golu , dev-soha bond . It was really heart warming. I think dixit house soha sona scene was better

@Astrix Erica does a lot of things due to sheer obligation even when she does not like it nay. Like wearing that weird costume which she truly hated, she still went along with it. This time even in the iv she clearly stated that she would'nt gave agreed for the extension if tehy showed another leap so don't think she's too happy being Soha's mum. So this plotline works pretty well for both of them since Shaheer is already an uncle to 3 kids. Though absolutely no scenes with thhe kids would be odd too of course. Pretty sure they'll have quite a few DevAkshi stuff since the whole extension came about for the two actors and little else :)
