More than the serial coming to a close ...I am feeling bad for all those who tried their level best to voice their opinion...to get the show going...sadly they didn't get any response ...I hope at least on the last day of the show , they show some solidarity towards the fans who tried to keep the show live...I don't think by doing that no one will be hurt...

Its not that the fans don't understand abt imp...commercial value...just a parting thank you would be good

I appreciate ur thoughts Awasthy,

But tell me, if your boss dissolves your position and tells you that you have been promoted. You start planning accordingly for the new things n suddenly the day before ur promotion u r being told that ur place has been taken by a person who has resigned a month back n has even left the office. N also you are being demoted. Will it not be injustice.

People fighting for the show are not only teenagers or college going students. It includes a wie range of professionals, from doctors, professors, engineers, etc etc, home makers, business personals n the list is endless. We all know show has to end one day, but it should go with respect n dignity. Not because of some internal politics.

Other show shot its end, bid farewell and our show was given a different time slot. Suddenly the gone show gets our time slot, asked to extend their story for two more months and our PH was asked to take different time slot or wind up in 2 weeks. Is it fair in any terms?

Its the back stabbing n injustice that has irked people. N we are fighting for it.

Agree with you Charu. It is not about ending the show. It is about how it was done. I feel bad thinking of Shaheer who got to know of it suddenly when he was on a tour. Is it the way to deal with one of the most popular heroes of television?

Yes. One day it will end. We are preparing ourselves to face it. But suddenly such ill treatment that too when the other show which they gave our slot never did well TRP wise?

It is a fight against injustice and the channel's attitude. It should be done irrespective of the outcome.

Hello Aswathy,

What you have written is undoubtedly true. Its been about two weeks since I was giving the show a miss. On Friday I decided to just peek in on twitter just to catch in on the happenings and boom I came across Mamta's tweet. For a minute I just stilled as I couldn't believe this was happening. For a few seconds I stared at her tweet but was immediately caught in the outpouring flood of heartbreak and anger. It completely over whelmed me so I got offline and tried to digest this news.

The moment of truth for me was when I realized the bittersweet feeling was mostly in memory of the old KPRPKAB. The KRPKAB that was gold. The KRPKAB that introduced us to the none other than Devrath Dixit, The man we all fell in love with, The man Sonakshi Bose fell in love with. I always believed this story was about Devrath and his journey of love and loss. And off course Shaheer Sheikh. This man is simply phenomenal and was the perfect embodiment of Dev He is famous for many roles but I will always remember him as Devrath Dixit.

Even though I had become an on and off viewer its still heartbreaking that all of this is coming to an end . I can imagine how disheartening it must be for all the ardent fans.

Laxmi makers r ready to take any slot, they r ready to show even at midnight. Whole cast n crew are ready to work, its just the channel who is not paying any heed. This is sheer injustice.

Agreed not denying the fact that it could have been done in a more organized way ...and the way dealt with the fandom should have been with a lil more of sensitivity...I guess this outburst of emotions from the fans are kind of the first...all of them must have been a lil surprised...not justifying their act...

All they had to do was tell the fandom what made them shutshop...its not that we don't understand the commercial aspect of it...rather than blaming the viewers for not watching it on TV...coming out and telling ppl who viewed the show would have been great...

We never know ...they might do that on the last day of the show...so just wait for some more time to understand why they had to do it...not every one is good in communicating ...we have no clue what the PH had to go thru...and they themselves might be coming to terms with the turn of events...its not a small amount that is been put into such business...it could break or make a person...so when it comes to survival , not many would be polished...

All I am saying is ...each one of us are feeling bad...but that doesn't mean we should spoil our mood which will affect our personal life...the channel...PH ...actors ...etc looks like have moved on...my intention of this post was to cheer you guys...I guess it backfired ...I am sorry 😭

Ashwathy, the moment of truth was when Supriya started her rant and the PH took a turn to appease her. The whole story telling fell apart in a way.. from the makers starting off by saying this show was about a son and a mother and the relationship with the daughter in law, to 'it was never about a story' but 'all about relationships in general' !! This itself was a story!
The actors were the ones who kept interest alive.. Shaheer, Erica, Moon, Jagat, ... the writers were meandering all over the place.

Truth be told, I simply love this pair, sharica, to bits. I want to see them, almost endlessly... but maybe KRPKAB was not to be it. They are the ones, especially Erica, who slogged themselves out to keep things afloat. My evenings were incomplete without my dose of sharica!

Having said this, I think the least the channel could have done is to give it at least a 6 week notice before winding down. This 2 week stuff is ruthless and totally uncalled for.

I am seething at the channel big wigs who took this call.
