@lumos- I got your point and I see where you are coming from :) I think I just saw it differently which is why I can't wrap my head around her logic 😆

I kinda wanted to avoid commenting but then I just kinda gave in to the temptation

The only scene which I genuinely enjoyed and was intrigued by was Dev Ishwari's convo..When Dev asked for her approval..Dev has always felt a huge support and strength in his mothr..it always gives him a sense of satisfaction and confidence when he sees his mothr understanding him and his feelings..Today..mind you I am not talking about sequences before or after that..But just that particular scene when dev asked What I did was right or wrong..and from past few days the confllict Ishwari was facing got cleared in front of her..She even remembered such right moments where she felt she was major culprit and it completely destroyed her house and Dev's life..and after days of struggle she could gather enough courage to say him No he is wrong ..we saw in past 2 episodes how she couldn't say he was wring because she was guilty and responsible if not fully but a bit for his behavior..but today she knew now she has to step up and stop this..once again let me make a point here she didnt say Vicky is right or you give him chance ..her reaction was plain based on his and Soha's relation..Him raising hand in front of SOHA was the concern and she was right in him that he was wrong..Supriya ji was so sensitive with her performance and Shaheer was as usual excellent..kudos..It wasnt easy for Ishwari to say her ever so gentle caring son who she has always agreed and supported no matter what ..a simple plain NO..It was a big deal..Indeed..but she knew this has to be done..I am ao looking forward to see Dev Ishwari's relation growing and developing in a better way from here..Their will be conflicts arguments patch ups..their will be times when we will see them standing against each other too but its gonna be worth it..KRPKAB has always been about mothr son relationship..Now I see a major turn in their equation ..Very excited :)

Let me again clarify I totally understand and feel for Dev and his actions today..why he slapped and was he right or wrong ..but thats not the point here

I probably was the one who actually wanted Vicky to stay back and learn from his mistakes wanted Dev to forgive him for the sake of Golu and Elena but now I can say their is no point in bringing him back.Coz I realized he doesnt want to change..sadly..and as much you force a person to do something but until they are not willing to do it..no power in this universe can make them do that

So CVs mill make Dev apologize to Vicky also. Wow so the big bad villian of the show is Dev. What a hipocrisy.

I agree with you except in some places. When Mami was listing all the faults of Dev, I don't think anything constructive could've been done except for listening to it with straight faces. Based on my personal experience, I found this scene to be quite relatable. When such circumstances arise, where a family member is pointing finger at one another it is better to stay quiet rather than spitting back adding fuel to the fire. I know it's unfair but sometimes silence is the best treatment. Yes, Dev's deeds are nothing compared to GKB's heinous acts but both parties are more or less at fault. Dixit's should definitely hold GKB accountable for her actions when the right time comes but not now when things are already out of place. Sorry, it's just my pov.

@sjain- I understand what some of you are saying. That Ishwari finally realized she has to do the right thing and tell him he was wrong. I think I have already mentioned why I found her reaction hypocritical. Cos it gave me the impression that she was suddenly motivated enough to stand up to her bully son and point out that he was wrong. She was scared and it took a huge amount of effort to say it out loud but in reality, she has always been the first one to lash out at him whenever she thought he was wrong or he did something which din suit her purpose. She threw tantrums and got her way for everything from break up to infertility or something as trivial as Dev calling Asha maa. If anything the lesson she needed to learn was to step back and stop herself and the rest of the family from emotionally manipulating Dev. Cos the whole drama was not just about Dev losing his temper in front of kids. It was more about victimizing Vicky and making Dev into a villain for trying to beat up a guy who has changed. And the fact that Dev is as bad as Vicky and if he can be forgiven, why not Dev. Ishwari with her silence and misplaced epiphany validated mami's words. What she should have told Dev is that she understands his anger towards Vicky and while he is totally justified in being concerned as a father, he should learn to control his temper cos it can affect the kids in an adverse way. But it all came out wrong and as always Dev will be made to apologize and bring back Vicky.

This track has the potential to shape up very well if they do justice to Dev's character. This maybe one thing that Dev just can't listen to anyone as he is. sure about what he is doing

I want Dev to go somewhere afar without telling anyone to let them know his worth. Oh wait! It would be his mistake again for being' selfish' and leaving his 'duties'. I doubt if anyone would see through his pain. Why everyone is justified for their actions (Neha, Soha, Riya,Nikki) because Dev was wrong towards them and Dev's own behaviour is because of his mistake. I concur with your view, Dev should really go away far for sometime so that they know his worth but then again it will be his mistake only, so better way will be to get detached from everyone except Sonakshi & Suhana, be there physically & emotionally but for everyone else just show that they do not matter to him, he is just there to provide financial stability to them nothing else.
And one fine day when Ishwari again starts her Pravachan about his duties that he should burst out on everyone and show everyone there mistakes. I mean how much can a person take, really appreciate Dev's patience.
