Such a simple episode!
You would think I must be joking but really when you think about it by analysing this fight between them to such details we have made the problem much bigger than it actually is probably. Sum of the matter is.. That dev needs to understand that sona loves him too but he can't cage her in, either to show his love or protect her from any harm that might come...and sona needs to understand that sometimes you need to be more expressive and realise that that's what probably dev was missing. That she needs to be more vocal.
And very sweetly indeed, ishwari made the first start in bringing these two to a middle ground.
Such simple conversations she had with both but brought out the crux. As sona said, her and dev's relationship cannot be like his and ishwari's. A mother may protect or feel the need to protect like that, make choices for her child, want to keep him in her sight... But obviously a couple's love will be different having different dynamics. And also very importantly, to can't get her love by caging her or bonding her in any way. I always felt that sona has been really patient in this matter. Despite many conversations dev still is going overboard and comes up with a new thing every day. And as she has always told that she understands it's out of his love and care for her.
Bit having said all this... I still want to see what pacified her anger and when why and how she planned this surprise. I want to hear what she wants to say! (please don't mess this one up!!!)
Coming to dev, I really couldn't get angry with him today. As he said, for seven years he couldn't love her as a result of which this is happening! Plus, he has his roots tied to his mom. How he has seen ishwari love him always... Keeling them close, doing everything for them, taking their decisions even... It's not completely wrong just another way of love and so naturally that's what he learnt and is doing. So you can't find fault here too. But again two lines... He has to realise he is her husband not father and that all her happiness is actually attached to him only. Probably being a woman let's ishwari understand this better but he will too
Which is why back to my point... I can't wait for sona's surprise tomorrow.
Only think today left me a bit confused. All I want is when they talk, all matters like her working from home, soha, her expressions, and his overpossesiveness needs to he touched upon. Basically all issues they have been fighting over. Then it will be truly over.
And anything more will be Cherry on the cake.. You all know na!
