I m sticking to written updates. what caught my attention was why so much fuss by SONA about working from home.Im in US, wfh is a boon. there are tonnes of women/men who regularly work from home. it is not demenaing .

JMO. this is the most absurd track with regards to sona 's character.

I know, even I can make work from home 1-2 days a week if I organise my schedule and I love it. I guess, some people wants work and personal space different.

In the show, it's different because it was not Sona's decision it was enforced on her.

Its not about working from home is not gud

its just she dnt like it

24 hr staying in the same place

even.i cant do

she need work space of her choice

and she dnt lyk rsn behind tat

everyone gets to knw she is mrs dixit which she dnt want

Its not at all about work from home is not right or demeaning.

Sona has been shown to work from home previously also..maybe not whole day but she takes meetings from home too.

Its more about Dev taking decision of where she shud work n rescheduling her meetings without her knowledge. Calling her clients directly n changing meeting location.

Also she is not just a nutritionist now. She manages whole company, investors, corporate clients etc . N it shud be her decision on how n where she prefers to do her work. She has a set way of working n she wants to continue doing it the way she has done till now.

Personally I dnt mind work from home at all but if its important meeting I always take from office.

Not relevant to show but in many countries, work from home option is stil SEEN equivalent to enjoying at home n avoiding work n people who work from home are many times not taken seriously.

I see several reasons for sona to not like it
1. The idea is being forced on her
2. There is no real reason or need for her to work from home like- takingcare of sick family member etc
3. I work from home twice aweek but i really dont like it.it is really very depressing to work at home (for me). At work i get to interract with my team in person. Also once you move up the corporate ladder work from home willnot really work out . I dont seemy ED or MDs working from home often.
4. Since sonais ceo of the company.. it is important that she is present at the office to motivate the team and conduct meetings in person when needed.
5. Last but not the least - she doesnt want to use dev dixits name to earn her success.. if she works from home .. it is obvious every client would know that she is devs wife.

It's not about her working from home but the fact that Dev is forcing this decision on her.

Also some people don't like to bring their work problems home. They like to separate work and home like Sona said and have a separate place and time for both of them rather than mixing them. Another thing is how is she meant to concentrate on work and be professional and put everything else out of her mind and have meetings when she's in her home with her family. She needs to get in the mind space to do business and she can't do that when she has half her mind on her family which she will if she's sitting at home.

If she chose this decision herself then fair enough she'll deal with it all and make it work because she wants to do this but she didn't and Dev forced it upon her without considering how it'd make her feel or disadvantage her. Some people actually like getting out the house and being in a different environment for some time and not just being indoors with their family 24/7 and Dev practically forcing her to stay inside even when she's working will suffocate her so bad.

The issue is not about working from home but about Dev interfering by arranging meetings at home because he thinks she shouldn't go out. We need to understand that Sona is the CEO of a start up and working from home is not always a preferred option for such jobs. If the head of the ship isn't in office, what perception would it create amongst the clients and employees. She surely can work from home in case of emergencies but not as a practice I feel.
