Oh how I loved today's episode! The whole weeks track boiled down to this. How beautifully they highlighted the stark difference between how these two show their love!
For dev, I again fell in love with him today. I seriously haven't seen a character like this on Indian TV before. Usually we are so used to see emitional and expressive female leads that we associate that with them. But I think for the first time I see a male lead more expressive than the female and I love it!
For him, love is seeing waking up to her face and going off to sleep seeing the same, it is expressed through his gestures and words, he doesn't need a reason to shower his love over her, she is the centre of his whole world. He lives because of her. It starts and ends with her .And seriously as we have seen he will die if she goes from his life for any reason.
For Sona it's very different. She doesn't expresses verbally a lot or even through gestures. And it would happen on a special occasion where she deliberately prepared for it. For her it's just there..a fact of her life. She loves him yes but that doesn't mean he is the only one she can see. For dev it's like that. Today Dev's dialogues clearly highlighted this and reminded me of meredith grey. For her she can live without him but she doesn't want to. For dev no sona means no life at all. She is not as emotionally driven as dev! Yes she will analyse the situation and act accordingly while dev will blindly run towards her. But is that so wrong? You do remember her being beside you during your accident right dev?
And sona so you remember him panicking so much the day of the fire without first checking whether you are at all in any danger or not? There actions are clearly indicative.
But dev? Does that mean she doesn't love you? No.
Because I know exactly the situation. In my house, I am the one who constantly goes and hugs, cuddles and kisses my sister. She never or very rarely comes. Does that mean she loves me and less? No. Because I know how she had taught me maths just so that I don't get a beating from my mother? Or how my friend just holds my hand instinctively while we cross the road?
In these cases there is hardly any expression through gestures or words! It's just there way.
I can exactly understand why dev feels so because I am much like him, and my whole family and friends like sona. They are not cold just different.
But sona? Some times you need words too! They are a very powerful tool of communication! Sometimes you just need to say it out loud! Tell him how much you love h, how much you missed him, how difficult it was for you, how relieved you are to have him back, how you want to spend your time with him!
The episode just raised so many brilliant and valid points! My eyes were moist while dev had his mini outburst! And I can't wait to see how sona communicates to him how she loves him!
Finally the track makes sense. I was thinking if they solve everything today what's the point for this track and bringing up the fight again later?
But now it's okay the track was just a gateway to this major story. And I love it!

Beautiful post.
I m sure Sonakshi will show her love by action rather than words.
Somehow i feel sonakshi is going to get hurt while saving Dev.
Mein tumhare liye apni jaan de sakta hu ...kya tum kar sakti ho?
These words are indicating something?
Just my POV.

^^ yes thats right its all about expressing..not expressing doesnt mean you dont feel it..I 100% relate to that..Coz I too am not an expressive person at all..but yes I too feel it is my major weakness..and Sonakshi is suffering because of that..Hope she realizes where she is wrong and this time without any barriers she speaks up :) ..Just say what ever is going on in her head and heart..what ever is her problem hope she shares it with Dev..Let him feel important in her life

Sona was expressive before breakup. She is like this because of her 7yrs of struggle. She used to believe in expressing her feelings and love but now she knows nothing is there to stay forever and things should go with the flow of wind.
