So here is the thing. The show right now is a sordid mess IMO and while I have huge issues with Shaheer's current hairdo, the lack of romance or even subtle intimacy in general, terrible costumes etc., but the truth is that a lot of these issues can be ignored if there was a proper logical story. Cos IMO, nothing trumps a good story and a good story can salvage everything from bad hair to bad costumes to a large extent. The impact of the lead's bad styling is magnified infinite times thanks to the terrible storyline. I have some observations to make. No offence meant 😆

1. It appears that Shaheer is fine with anything (whining, crying, stalking) so long as he gets to do whatever with his hair and take off every once in a while to Indonesia for his projects (I mean he criticised the show pre leap during bua maa phase and a couple of other instances when that is frankly nothing compared to what the show is right now 😆)

2. It appears that Erica is okay with anything (bad characterization, lecturebaazi, mahaanta) so long as she gets decent costumes cos the biggest issue for everyone involved is bad costumes (which sucks no doubt) instead of worst storyline 😆

3. It appears that Supriya P is happy with anything (overnight redemption, inconsistent characterization) so long as Ishwari is positive and not behaving like a Maya type psycho 😆

4. It appears that Mamta P is happy to RT 5 positive tweets out of 95 negative ones so long as it gives her a high that she is making a world class show.

5. Finally, it also appears with reasonable certainty that fans care more about the show and making sense out of it than the actors or writers themselves cos they anyway get paid for it while we are wasting our time trying to analyse the hell out of every scene (just like at times fans seem more invested in Shaheer-Erica and their relationship than they appear to be 😛😆)

WOW...I never thought you could bring in such subtle sarcasm in ur write up...I liked it ...the last part did crack me up... 😆 ...

regarding the story line...I do agree...I have stopped thinking abt logic...honestly I am not happy the way story is narrated as well...but again am so used to watching it...hence curious and I end up watching or reading the update...
In fact I have started enjoying our Sharica thread more than the chemistry of our on screen couple or the story...because there is a lot of fun in there...and some of the comments make you to laugh a lot...90% of the time ppl there are just for girl talks...reminding ppl like me of our good old days at college...

Towards the end of the day as long as we don't hurt anyone..with our words or deeds...and we enjoy those small light moments and ...get to laugh and be happy its fine...

@Astrix90 Can understand your frustration, so many unanswered tracks and the CVs are introducing new/repetitive tracks sans any logic. But for me the most frustrating part is as a fan I am not able to detach myself from the show even with so many inconsistencies, even if it is just following the written updates or the forum. It seems as if CVs have decided that Dev & Sonakshi do not have the right to be happy, there task is to keep others happy irrespective of how there relationship is growing. Just to show that they have matured over time the leap was introduced else they could have shown all this without the leap as well. In fact sometimes I feel they behaved much more maturely pre leap then post leap. Add to this the spoilers for this week indicate that happy Sonakshi & Dev are a myth 😆

All said and done I need to get myself detached from the show.

You are right in a way. The line between real and reel is very blurred right now. No comments on Supriya P but in my opinion Shaheer and Erica are very much committed to the show which is clear from their interviews. The writing and editing needs to vastly improve. In my opinion, they show end the show by 400 episodes and not drag it any further.

I can't concentrate on any of the scenes including Dev. Every time he is in frame my eye sight automatically lands on his head. When he was blasting Vicky I just couldn't take him seriously with that lop of hair. I'm sure even Vicky must be thinking " I can't see or hear anything beyond your hair bro"

Yeah its a miracle that we are still discussing this. Which is why I said we care more than the ppl involved 😆

Am not really questioning their professionalism. But I genuinely believe they have stopped caring 😆

see I don't get that at all from their scenes. To me they have been fine, the only difference is that they are indeed different people from season 1. They are no longer that innocent or naive. i don't know, i didn't have any issues connecting with their scenes. The story? Needs better editing and needs to run smoother. That is the only real complaint I have.

Since the khatri track, show is on constant downhill path. Poor writing n butchered characters shud be blamed...all others reasons are secondary. I cant speak for Supriya but for Erica n Shah I can say they gave their 100% always...only recently it feels something missing which also I wud blame on bad writing and direction. One thing is clear actors cant comment on story plot, so I feel even Sha n Eri are somewhat not too excited abt the content n their characterization. There is no consistency on how a char shud react...instead of dealing with core issues, CVs is busy in superficial tracks.

But overall quality in every dept has gone down. Sona's dresses do not bother me much but Dev's hairstyle is just too apparent to ignore.

CVs do read twitter feedback n most of them complaint only abt less Devakshi romance...if small group of people like me crib abt story...we are advised to stop watching 😕😉 Twitteraties started a trend to change Sona's dress but nothing at all to put logic into the story. Sadly CVs never read IF analysis.
