Holds true for show also...Dev gets all important scenes n dialogues, Dev's relationship with every character is shown in depth, he gets good scenes with kids also. Sona doesnt get anything...dialogues also not good..no one interested in her life her struggles, no significant scene, no emotional journey of last 7yrs.

Agree he is doing lot of crying now but he gets quite diverse set of roles n interesting scenes n dialogues to showcase his acting prowess compared to Sona who is pretty unidimensional n repetitive nowadays. She just gets scenes with Dev n Ish, n her emotional side has been completely ignored.

True Sona is pretty boring with her stoic lectures and she was never like this when the show started but if there is one character they have butchered the most on this show besides Ishwari, it has to be Dev 😆 The guy actually used to take a stand for his nutritionist when his mami insulted her, used to point out to his mother how she was unfair in treating her nutritionist the way she did and broke his engagement the moment he realized he was in love. He was impulsive and lost his head over his mother yet he was a sensitive guy who knew what he wanted in life and din whine or cry over it the whole day. Just look at what they have made him into in the last few months. Its one thing to portray diverse scenes and another to play a character which has been ruthlessly butchered. So I dont really see any advantage in being Mamta's favorite per se 😆
