@Lakshmi... Didn't you feel some irony in Sona telling Ishwari to fight for her rights. Getting it told by someone who didn't fight for her right as wife, the makers have something in store on that part. Either, they want to show Sona has learnt from her mistakes OR, with the entry of Neha they will use it to spice up the drama in a way that Sona is trying to separate Dev from Ishwari...anyway, things are getting interesting.

@ Grace

I don't know what is in store for us in future episodes. My main problem is why Sonakshi always supports the other one against Dev.

If it is Dev/ Iswari she will stand by Iswari. If it is Nikki/ Dev she will support Nikki. If it happens to be Dev/ Ria she will stay with Ria. We all know when she has to chose between Dev/ Bijoy whom did she chose.

I wonder why she feels only Dev has to mend himself. Sisters are also at fault for widening the distance between them and their brother.

Iswari also is responsible for Dev's anguish. He has every right to feel that his aged mother who has health problems should relax and spend her remaining life peacefully. He still can not forget the gruesome torture she went through when she worked to earn their living.

I feel she should have asked Iswari to relax and not cause pain to Dev by working outside. She should have shown her options to. Keep herself busy.

Why is she always bent upon pleasing others but not Dev? Taken him for granted? May be.

Impact of childhood trauma is very difficult to understand, it impacts ones adulthood, relationships, behaviour, and overall cognitive functioning. Adversities faced in childhood cause disruption of the child's stress hormones - leading to chronic hyper-arousal and ongoing sensitivity to stress. Children, who are threatened with adversities, adapt a stress response in form of fight, flight and freeze, in an extremely prolonged and repetitive fashion.
Dixsit family lived their lives in a survival mode. Dev fought with his circumstances, against all odds he turned around his life for his family and mother. During his journey from rags to riches, he formed a toxic relationship with his mother, which dominated his life.
I exasperated when Dev said to Sona that she could never understand their past. I understood that he didn't wanted her to intrude. I was so attached to Sona's character that I thought she already understood Dev's trauma to greater extent.
However, the expression Sona gave when she saw Dev's reaction after learning Ishwari's job surprised me. It was disbelief, as if she was like 'how couldn't he understand that it's a good news'. For Sona it was a good news, a welcoming change. Her expression showed that she couldn't understand how much these things are imbedded with his childhood trauma.
I don't know how makers will show Sona dealing with Dev's reaction, but I really hope she would be more empathetic.

Dev was reminded of his childhood, thus, he showed his agitation and frustration. I hope this track will help Dev to organise his thoughts and cope with his trauma.

Sorry for my long rant. Just felt like sharing my POV.

@Timba awesome analysis. 👏 the way u explained Dev's thinking at the time of slap or in general with reference to his mom's struggle and sona's past 7 years, was superb.

@sunshinebhumii, even i feel that this time sona will understand Dev's past in real sense, as she will be able to feel it.

SB dear.. sona is slowly getting there.. This is the first time she is included in the inner circle tht is dev nd ishwari sanctum and thy are sharing their past... so far she has heard only dev's version of the past nd now she has a glimpse of ishwari's version of the same. Once ishwari shared her past sona was visibly upset and can sure understand the mental state of dev nd his anger.

Sona is empathetic nd forgiving as per her character else she wouldnt have said tht thy both are right in their places. Pre leap sona would have forced dev to agree to ishwari's decision just to make her happy. Here she is trying to make them see eachother's pov.

First time she is included in their dinner ritual.

first time ishwari put her above dev and shared about her job.

Actually she will be more understanding nd empathetic towards the duo now. She is The One who can calm The Dev Dixit.

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is truly an unique masterpiece... Since, the last couple of days, we are questioning the 'hatke' tag associated with this show... But, today, I am sure... This show has once again proved why it stands apart from the other daily soaps...

But, today's episode, unexpectedly has provided us with answers to some of the long-standing questions that have been plaguing this thread for quite some time...

Each and every segment of today's episode has been just sooo... good and beautiful...

The growth and evolution of Dev and Sona as partners, a sweet glimpse in the life of Nikki & Lakshya... Ishwari learning to work on the computer for the first time... Ishwari sending a mail to Dev to apologise and the radiant smile on Dev's face... Dev's reply...

Since, the reunion, we have been witnessing small and subtle changes in the characters, but today, we could finally clearly see the changes that have happened in all of the characters...

This episode just stole my heart and soul... Today's episode was like finding an oasis in the scorching desert... The relief and the satisfaction that I felt from watching today's episode cannot be described in simple words...

I would just end this post by just a simple request... Please watch today's episode... I am sure, by the end, you'll also have a tearful smile in your face...

Kudos to all the actors, writers and the other creatives for bringing us this beautiful episode...

Have a great weekend... Will see you all on Monday...

It's was never going to be as black and white as building IN in the same locality where you lived 20 years ago and stepping in the 1st world. What the Dixits are going through was inevitable. At some point this lingering trauma had to be dealt with. This time Ishwari opened an interesting Sandook. And guess what, A Bose helped her do it.

A beautiful interplay of memory and recall. If I had to pick I would say Riya coped best with the complexities of their poor childhood as well as the abrupt changes of 7 years. She took the middle road and came round quickly. She helped Nikki see what her mind had blocked.

Boses in general and Sonakshi in particular have brought the Dixits to a point where the abstract nostalgia and the practical present day problems need to ask relevant questions and prepare themselves for the future. Back then they were not prepared enough to deal with the love stories of Dev and Neha. Now they aren't able to deal with ishwari's desire to make an identity of her own or look at nikki's unconventional relationship. The reaction of Dev (and the one expected of Ishwari for nikki) are not unexpected or even unfair. But this eclectic mishmash of old and new... traditional and modern needs more form and body to it.

Mami and Sonakshi happened too quickly for ishwari and the Dixit siblings. They needed to absorb the prosperous IN. Talk about the trauma and lost dreams. Watch movies together. Eat dinner cooked by ishwari where she doesn't have to worry about the food finishing. Before the impingement of the duniya. 😭

The highlight of the episode however was Asha and Ishwari's very different yet the same struggles with the men of their families.. why is a feminist Dev struggling to let his mother have her own identity? Why is a largely democratic Bose home telling Asha that she needs PR? The answer lies in what Sam told us months ago. The men don't want to see their ladies in the field. They want them to sit in air conditioned offices. It's all love, care and concern with patriarchy in the backdrop.

The men however need to grow. Like Asha told dada today. Just because they are donning a new identity, the old is not lost. I wonder if a Bose girl will have to remind Dev the same?

On that note, when Dev had already fallen asleep, why didn't sonakshi go to bed too? Haan? 😳

Dev Ishwrai scnee stole my heat

Sending simple "Email" sending can be so beautiful and touching

I didnt know that no not at all <3 Oh I cant tell how amazing I felt

I guess I will be using that method from next time since I keep fighting with my mothr always HEHE

Simply wonderful warm absofreakingutely special sequence it was..

"Dear Son you angri??.. I sad sorry..M" *sniff sniff*

"Love you mss" *sob sob*

Nothing can be as beautiful and satisfying to see your mothr re discovering herself..pushing herself to make her own identity and breaking her boundaries to find new confidence and courage..stepping in to whole new world which is total alien to her..achieving something <3 Dev got that feeling too as soon as he saw that small full of love message from his mothr <3..He was on cloud 9..So overwhelmed..he couldnt believe his mothr is learning and loving her work so much the enthusiasm and passion she is having at this age..made him teary and me too :')

I am so proud of makers and thank them from bottom of the my heart :)

I would like to disagree here DQ..If men of both the families wants best or what they think is best for them I dont think thier is anything wrong in that..Starting from boses they never stopped Asha from achieving her own identity..Neither Bijoy nor Saurabh ever let Asha feel that she is neglecting her house duties or she should stop pursuing her passion..and coming to having PR then I believe its their side of effort or help they want to do for Asha to let her manage her writing well now that her book has done good
Coming to Dixits..Dev isnt doubtful of her mothr's capabilities or hardwork he has seen her doing the best for him and their family..he has always been proud of her of what she has done all her life..He is protective not because he deosnt believe in her..He is objecting as she has done alot all her life..The concept of her working under someone brings back the bitter memories of his childhood..when he can provide her everything why she needs to take discomfort or trouble of any sort..and trust me I tell you had I be on Dev's place even my initial reaction would have been same as I too am equally protective that ways..Its a very natural instinct and I could relate to dev..every bit of his emotions..Its purely about love & concern he has for his mothr

I am glad that I have always been able to relate to Dev more and mostly compared to others (except a few incidents)

No offense My POV

I hope I have interpreted your words in right way

Mahua, I didn't say there is anything wrong in it. It's very endearing. It's love and concern.
I am just saying that men need a helping hand too. They need to see that the women they live so much want some control on their lives. In a nice way.

The last scene of today's episode was beautiful.. such subtlety moments make KRPKAB very special... 👏 kudos once again to the amazing expressions of Shaheer ..Erica and Supriya mam :) fantastic

PS: On a separate note ..Sonakahi had earlier stated, before she entered Dixit home. ..She and Dev won't be able to be close to one another till they sort out the past 7 yrs.. and that's what is happening ..I see how the family is healing ...coming closer :) beautiful
