1.Shallow characters- the characters are becoming just one layered and have just one moto on the show. Similar lines over and over ex. Sonakshi ki wajah se iss ghar ne kitne bure din dekhe hain or
Sonakshi Dev ko chhodkar chali gayi or
meri hi galti hai or
I love you & shotti.
Biggest turn-offs these days are.
1.Ex GKB - She was never pleasant but day by day her screen time and dialogues are increasing which can be summarised in just two lines but she keeps on speaking bleh and no-one, I mean no-one in IN is able to stop that rant. Her English problem is too much to be funny. I just laugh at her my-red rest of the time, I am like any this Kolaveri Di in the name of comedy.
Why Ishwari continues to entertain her is beyond me. She is just plain venom, anyone can see that. I understand the need for villains but this show claims to be different so there should be layers to her character as well and she shouldn't be in-the-face-OTT villain with screen time more than leads.
Second is Bijoy- In season 2, he is just Dixit-hater-loud-dictator. His purpose is just to create a scene. Man, reduce the frown/scowl/loudness level please.
Third is Ishwari- After coming back from yatra, she looks defeated. Just defeated. Earlier after Dev accident, there was some dialogue baazi and tension in mother-son duo. Man, I loved the undercurrents when Dev taunted her regarding Sonakshi. It felt like they have emotions and they are fighting it. Her and Dev scenes are reduced to the level of ExGKB ki Hindi. She is a main character and she ain't a negative character then why she looks so dull?
2. Lack of positivity- Apart from one Dev-Sona moment per day, what do we have? Bose family comedy is a treat to watch. Please continue that. And also Dixit family members including Ishwari all had funny bones left in their bones earlier. Toh please show their positive and funny side as well. There can't be post-tragedy seriousness forever in IN.
Over-all what I feel is the positivity and depth of characters shouldn't be this low to keep the drama quotient high. I will always be impatient to watch the next episode but I will skip it sometimes when I come to know that characters depth can be compromised for drama quotient.
Still I feel KRPKAB is a great show but I feel disappointed many a times. Although there are many reasons to stay engaged, but still new foundations have to be laid, apart from the love for the characters and nostalgia, I would like to have more reasons to watch the show.
