I hope the writers don't plan on redeeming Ishwari by having her play Cupid between Dev and Sona.

The khatri track might prove Ishwari is a good mom (not really because she destroyed another equally poor family but lets pretend) but it doesn't justify how she treated Sona during the infertility track, prenup, breakup track and after the leap when she criticized Sonas parenting of Soha or how she lied to Dev about Jatin and Sona getting married to name a few. It doesn't justify how she acted with Sonas family about the loan either.

If the writers were going to redeem Ishwari in this manner, why start the leap by making her even more evil. Wouldn't it have been easier to show her regretting her role in the break up to gain viewer sympathy? The writers however chose to show her being manipulative again.

I don't want Ishwari to play Cupid

I am very confused and annoyed by the approach that CV's have taken. One minute Dev is blaming his mother for their breakup and then the next he is all lovey-dovey with her.

Why cant they show one true emotion and move forward with it? Plus Ishwari though had good intentions her crime should not be forgivable. A crime is a crime. If any other character in the show had done it then they would be punished for it. Why not Ishwari?

Btw where did the CD go where Ishwari confesses her crime? Why will Khatri not show this to the police now?

He won't sit quietly in jail ..

Didnt expected that there wud be too much of Maa puran in this khatri track. My heart bleeds when dev is crying for that nonsense woman.

Only justified his crying when ishu too realise her mistakes with sona.

Let's not even talk about ishwari's redemption. I think we may never see it... :(
My only last wish from cvs is please don't make Dev and sonakshi wait for ma's consent for reunion... that's the least they can do now. They can already messed up with glorifying ishwari no ends by justifying that she did everything ( prenup, passive manipulations with sona, guilt trips for Dev even if he was slightly happy because of sona and not her , robbery, bias with son neglecting daughters and it goes on) because she was a mother...

The show writers dont punish characters who are criminals though:

- GKB burns her house down, gets rewarded by staying in luxury

- Vicky steals money and gold watch from Dev, gets rewarded by being promoted to CEO without qualifications while Riya has to start from the bottom and is told not to mention that she is Devs sister.

- Vicky and GKB instigate Dev and Ishwari during break up track, evict Boses, get rewarded by continuing to live in luxury and have a happy marriage

- Vicky commit tax fraud and has goons harm Dev, the track is forgotten

- ishwari gets Dev to sign prenup illegally, all is forgiven and forgotten

What's the use though, if Dev is going to regret his behaviour to his mother over this silly incident but forget what she did to his marriage, then even if khatri exposes her, Dev will justify her and elevate her to the highest level anyway.

Im actually confused seeing the segments as to why was leap bought in if Ishwari had to be redeemed like this ...I do understand Devs love for his mom n respect him for that but still it doesnt rule out the fact that he n his wife,kid also suffered due to her...He is crying he neglected his mom for 7 yrs well fine n good but wat about him n his family..????.Inshort i still want proper redemption from Ishwari!

You and I have the same confusion. If you figure it out, promise you'll explain it to me in simple terms so I too can understand the last 5-6 months of this show. Promise! 😉

Is it human nature that we become protective and possessive when some outsiders try to hurt our loved ones .We maybe angry with our loved ones but we can never tolerate if someone else try to hurt them .I think Dev is feeling guilty for letting Khatri harass his mom for years and he was not there to protect her .in his mind after his father's death it's his responsibility to protect his mom and sisters from the men who are ready to take advantage of them and he feels terrible for not fulfilling his duties .

His anger with his mom is different but he would never want any outside to punish his mom .He would have reacted the same way if Sonakshi was in Ishwari's place .He might be angry with Sonakshi for leaving him and not trusting his love but would never forgive if someone took advantage of this in his absence.

Though Ishwari and Bijoy were responsible for the crack in their relationship but it was Dev and Sonakshi who were responsible for the breakup .Had they trusted each other and let go off their ego Soha would not have suffered.

In my opinion, Ishwari redemption started after the leap .I think after the end of tashan the focus will be on Ishwari's changed behavior
