The thing is John that the moment we use culture to define misogyny, it automatically becomes a social norm. Which in turn becomes part of our national identity.

The first step is to differentiate culture and misogyny. And it starts by accepting that culture and tradition are not stagnant. They are always evolving with time. So if a culture or tradition doesn't match the contemporary legal or social mentality, it has to be eliminated.

We have eliminated Sati system, made dowry illegal by law, have made laws on abuse etc. These were all parts of our culture in the past. But that is no longer the case.

But the second step to that is to stop defending misogyny and start fighting for equality for all genders.

Human rights need to be the end all of all social norms. Nothing should be above human rights.

That's exactly what I mean. It was so random and disconnected that I could not relate to a thing and only ended up believing Sonakshi to have a schizophrenic personality. 🤢

Dev was all Soha jaap until he got approval from his daughter and then boom just like with sona until he got married to her and then boom. Not sure what is in store for us but somehow I feel this khatri track will back fire Sona and she will be thrown out again and loose soha to dixitt's. She will sacrifice soha to soha's best papa, its my feeling may be wrong.

Ishu and Khatri are eternal lovers both have unreasonable demands from Sona one wanted her to pop a kid from nowhere and other wants her to bring the lady from god knows where
Seriously hoping that there is more in precap and ishu return gets cancelled
Ps how many of u think that family which were robbed had any ties with Khatri? He could have easily taken Sona and ishu money but he only wants to defame ishwari

Of course. Khud Sona halal hone ke liye apni Bakri jaisi gardan aage karegi, to halal to hona hi hain.

@BOLD, I think you are absolutely right. Khatri wants revenge and the only reason he would want that if the family who was robbed were his own.

In S1 Khatri used to ask Ishwari for money, so if he had wanted revenge he would have not asked her for money then. Hope CVs remember this

I agree. Asha may not be a supportive mother, but she is an excellent in-law (both Mil and Dil).

Ronita is very lucky to be married to that family. Dixits would have crushed her self-confidence in a day starting from her body to every single thing they could pick on.

Heck, Sona was beautiful, slim, educated, a doctor and they did not even spare her.

The Bose house scenes were saving grace these days.

About the episode, how much ever worthless mother and wife Asha is, she is indeed a wonderful MIL and DIL 🤗 . I absolutely loved her nuances today. Ronita is a lucky woman and Dida-Asha-Ronita are indeed setting some MIL-DIL goals . Bijoy, in this matter, is indeed lucky as well as his mother and wife and now DIL has managed to maintain such heavenly bond around that one would die to come back to such a home after a long hectic tiring day Oops, did I just talk about myself ? 🤣 I mean Bijoy's tiring day/week 😆. But no honestly, anyone raised in an environment provided by Boses should never ever even THINK of adjusting themselves to a crap toxic and shitty environment like Dixits where the guy is an absolute MCP jerk abuser and the less said about the others, the better.

I am gonna watch previous days Bose scenes by skipping nonsense Dev-Sona scenes for now. This show is SO below my standard man 😆 I mean I have watched all kind of shows/movies highlighting all types of social issues, but I always felt those shows had their hearts at the right place. They clearly could identify and differentiate between right and wrong and made sure to show the consequences, in this show I see makers are justifying Dev's crass personality under the layer of 'lau' and obsession. Absolutely nonsense.

I hope no girls in our society get such PATHETIC husband like Dev and -crow-shit family like Dixits (which includes Dev)🤢

That's what we wish for. But I doubt CVs bother to check past episodes before the wire the script. That's why there is absolutely no similarities between one day to another.
