CVs have a simple rule. Instead of showing a new and improved Bhaiya, let's forcefully bring down another relationship on which Asha complained that she can't write a novel because neither Dida nor Bijoy tortures her or taunts her.

In season one after Sona's Bidaai when Bijoy was sitting in Sona's room and missing her, Asha said that he was the best son, best husband and best father. Remember the day when Sona called later after the Tulsi puja fiasco?

So today when she wanted to whitewash Dev, how did Bijoy became a burden she had to tolerate?

So only two things can happen here.

CVs want to show Dev as the best. So they have to drag Bijoy down and make Asha a long-suffering wife so that Sona can look like a failure for leaving Dev instead of showing "tolerance".

Or Asha is manipulative enough to bring down Bijoy even in a hospital room so that she can convince Sona and Bijoy that she is a better wife to suffer Bijoy and Sona should do the same since Dev is obviously the God so that she can claim her daughter to be married instead of divorced.

Either way, it's a massive turn off for me.

But as you know, Bhaiya has fallen so low that a old 60 plus guy is looking a better man beside him. So let's drag that man down who always stood by his family so that Bhaiya can look an acceptable option.

Actually I feel I am missing something huge here since in some of the book writing episodes Asha clearly complained about Bijoy and Dadi for treating her too well to give any chance of regrets or sadness. Now that whole thing looks like a dream.

this is a huge assumption that in past asha had a tuff time with anything other than Bijoy's anger. for makers to keep having asha make comparisons, make faces when bijoy asked her about himself, and afvice sona on compromising etc.. either they show us or tell us of asha's past being similar to what sonakshi faced with evil mataa and other equally evil dixits like neha, gkb and vicky! otherwise, asha is looking stupid and too regressive to push Sonakshi back in that hell. as for her advice about not getting down to Dev's level and give badtamizi ka jawab badtamizi nahin.. all ok. her advice about keeping soha in focus is correct too since devakshi made that deal about shuttling. other than that, reuniting devakshi without issues being resolved and showing her disappointment towards sonakshi every time.. is really fisheartening.. sona should have someone in her corner too.. and yes, she has Bijoy ⭐️

So which one is true she herself saying that they never troubled her or later telling or hinting sona that Bijoy was a bad husband at one point of time...Just too confused with flawed writing.😳

Yes, I think the screenplay writers of the show got changed and as a result onscreen writer Asha's character also changes.😉

@Tia.0: You are right. CV's can better make Dev regret for his mistakes rather than making Bijoy unbearable bad husband. Bijoy was not shown or mentioned by Asha as casanova. No way Bijoy can be demeaned. They can hardly compare the possessiveness of Bijoy and Ishu.
Your bhaiya 😆 is the winner of the race for bad husband whereas Bijoy is not even a participant.

Yes, the problem is we viewers remember the dialogues whereas the offscreen writers and onscreen characters have selective amnesia.😉

True.
@bold: Where are such wonderful relations for Asha to make her life hell in Bijoy's house? How she accommodated her niece in that house happily 😕
@blue: Exactly, I lost the hope of this Asha character.🤢

A good question...
Asha's dealings with her MIL is polar opposite to Sona's experience with Ishiwari MataJi...No comparison.

I just wonder if Asha really knows what transpired? Has Sona ever shared her experiences at Dixit house to Asha...I don't think so...If Asha knows and is still supporting Dev, i really think Asha needs to be tested for her mental capabilities.

Thank you..
Doesn't Asha knew that because of Dixit's (though we know its by Vicky) they are forced to be homeless? Inspite of this, she ask Sona to be calm and supportive to Dev just for Soha.

Hope CV's doesn't make Asha as another Ishwari and one point of time she may behave as MIL who will be insecure of her son and start indirect torturing of Ronita. 😉

Exactly, Dida is always more supportive of Asha than her own son, Asha doesnt know how lucky she is to have such a cool, lovely saas.
If she had to live even one day with Ishu's manipulations and jealousy then she would know what Sona had to put up with.
I think Dadi is more educated than Ishwari, she can speak and understand English and is well read too unlike Ishu or GKB.

Asha after the leap is being shown to be harboring some grudges against Bijoy
I have the distinct impression that before her marriage, Asha had feelings for her neighbour Subroto as mentioned by Bijoy when he was teasing her. 😆

Before the leap Asha used to complain that her saas and husband never mistreat her so she doesnt have enough masala to write in her novel...but now after leap they have reversed the story so Asha becomes critical of Sona and claims to have jhelofied Bijoy's anger issues.
All manipulations in the screenplay to make Asha sympathetic to Dev
