Teams teams everywhere...where do people like us go?? 😆twitter pe jao toh sona bashing,,forum mein ao toh dev bashing ..hehe I can never bash either one of them coz from my view point both were at fault with regard to the failure of their relationship. Coming to the last two episodes pre leap and the separation, i watched the episodes again and i have tried to list out where both went wrong according to me. And this is with regd to only the last two episodes before leap.Wish each team tries to understand that ek haath se taali nahi bajthi...and not band bajaofy either one of them😆
Devs fault:
His major fault was in him being biased towards his own family. He never shut mamis mouth when she called his inlaws as thiefs while he asked bejoy to not make n issue.He expected them to remain silent while his family questioned them abt the money which was ridiculous coz they never asked his help at all.He cld tolerate every nonsense uttered by mami but cldnt tolerate Bejoy screaming at Ishwari which resulted in the slap fiasco.The slap was unintentional but his anger was genuine and strangely it never came out in front of his own mami or mother.He never bothered to clear the Boses name regdin the money issue by saying that it wasnt a family stuff but a business deal and he was just investing and not lending money and business neednt be dicussed at home. He never asked his family to apologise to his inlaws for insulting them this way for no fault of theirs.He , though in anger , said very mean thngs abt sonakshi and her inablity to conceive which was absolutely wrong.In front of his mother , he claimed to regret falling in love and marrying her which no wife can tolerate .Even when he knew vicky had thrown them out of their house, he never bothered to check on them. Rather than facing the problem boldly, he chose to be drunk at a time when it was most important for him to be conscious and sane.
Sona's fault:
She actively involved herself in devs family matters like nehas marriage issue but she never discussed abt her family problems with Dev. If she considered herself a part of his family , the same applied for dev too..had she discussed abt sauravs issues or her new venture details, they cld have probably found out a better solution together.She always had this fear in her abt Dev leaving her for Ishwari, which she never discussed with him .She kept fighting the battle herself whch resulted in the reaction we saw in the final two episodes.If only she communicated to dev abt her inner turmoil.This is exactly why she misunderstood Ishwari wen she said "tum alag ho jao' ..though ish honestly wanted them to separate, she never said tht on her face nor she did she ever tell Dev directly.But coz of Sonas pre existing fear, she perceived it differently and burst out. When Ish told Dev that she told the same thng to sona as she told him, Sona again misunderstood that Dev knew Ishwari wanted them to separate and still dint try to do anything abt it . She held his collar and kept asking him to accept his mistke , when he did not even have an idea abt what she was talking abt. How cld he accept anything, when he had no clue as to what his miskte was n then the whole Ishwari fall drama. Dev , angered at that moment , did ask her to leave but what else cld he do when she kept shouting and reacting over things he wasnt even aware of.The women whom he thought loves and understands him suddenly calls him a ghatiya insaan and spineless man and holds him responsible for all their problems. If only she had ever tried making him understand all this calmly earlier rather than trying to become the best daughter in law. She knew him and his love for his mother , so without her making an effort to teach him to balance two relations, she kept accusing him of failing .
When both were wrong and failed to understand one another or work on their relationship, i dont get it when people bash either one of them. According to me, a mother like Ishwari was the major reason they cldnt ever stay happy together and thats one of the reasons we have divorces happening even in real life. And with regd to their final separation, both were responsible.
This is my personal opinion and i am never biased towards either characters.I love them both to the core and they are the main reason i wtch this show :)
