5. She should have made more of an effort to understand Ish's insecurities.

She didn't get a handbook about what to do and what not to do when she got married. Like Dev, it was an uncharted territory for her as well. But she made an effort. She grew in a well-structured, modern, functional family and yet, she made so many compromises to fit into the new highly-disfunctional one. But even then, she gets all the blame. High expectations like these are the reasons that society puts so much pressure on girls to be perfect. Bcz no matter what they do, there is always something they could have done differently and better in others opinion.

In the serial, cvs have shown what and who went wrong very clearly. But people are blindfolded and assuming, interpreting many things which is favourable to their favourite character. Cvs are thinking, they have not shown enough to degrade character and not reached/communicated to audience properly. and they are going further to bring character down. . Now cvs must be cracking their head, how can audience think like that. Kudos to shareer for this.

I am sorry if these drabbles are not welcome in tgis discussion thread but I don't want to go to MF. And we could do with some laughs instead of just debating about crappy serial!

The two lovebirds, Saurabh and Ronita were bored in their own reception ceremony. They just sat while people kept coming to offer them best wishes and gifts.
It could be easy for Ronita, but for Saurabh who was dying to have a moment with his wife, it was hellish.

And that's when a kid decided to jump on the stage with a big gift in his hand.

"Uri Baba, who's this cutie?!" Ronita squealed as she went all moony-eyes at the uber cute kid standing in front of her.

"Baba uri nahi, baba ura. Kyunki Baba toh boy hai na!" The kid answered smartly.

"What's your name, baby?" Ronita asked, taking the gift from his hand, "Thank you for this."

"You're welcome. And I am Golu!" He replied.

"Yeh Dev Babu ka bhatija hai." Saurabh said.

"Aww. Aap toh sach me Golu ho." Ronita said, pulling his cheek. She just couldn't get enough of him.

Girls! Golu shook his head at the thought, as he rubbed his cheek.

Golu innocently pulled Saurabh's cheek who was busy staring at Ronita.
"Aap bhi Golu ho." Golu told him.

Saurabh winced as he was brought out of his hypnotized state. Suddenly, a cheeky idea came to him and he pulled Ronita's cheek.

"Tum bhi toh Golu ho." He said teasingly.
"Saurabh.." Ronita went wide eyed and pushed his hand away, blushing furiously.

"I was just passing on the game." He said making innocent faces.

"Arey yeh kya, aap toh badi wali tomato lag rahi ho." Golu told Ronita, giggling, "And your make-up is not helping Aunty."

"Haha. Chhota packet, bada Dhamaka!" Saurabh said, as he hi-fived Golu and laughed hysterically. Laughter that soon died seeing Ronita's steely looks.

"Aise apni Biwi ke husn ka lutf has kar nahi liya karte, Saurabh Babu." Ronita said, warning clearly lacing her tone.

"Ji. Samajh Gaya." Saurabh replied with heads down.

Golu, who was staring at both of them, gestured Saurabh to come near. Saurabh complied.

"Luff..Lutt..Hus..Hiss.. Yeh keh kya rahi thi? In Girls ki toh language bhi alien ke jaisi hoti hai. Mere BigCha ki baat maano, inke chakkar me mat phasso uncle!" Golu warned.

"Ab toh phas hi gaya Golu." Saurabh answered with a sigh.

"Kya baatein chal rahi hai?" Ronita asked with a skeptical look.

"Kuchh nahi. Golu photo lega humare saath." Saurabh lifted Golu and kept him in his lap. Ronita asked the photographer to take a photo. He complied.

"Cheese!" The photographed said before clicking the photo.

"Breeeaaad!" Golu shouted back. A picture of the Dulha-Dulhan laughing like lunatics with a little boy giving an innocent smile was clicked.

Guys I was stalking the thread haha and sorry y'all to reveal something at number 6! Actually here's a fun fact, the simile 'blind as a bat' is created from a myth. I recently found out bats have 10 x sharper vision than human and they are most definitely not blind. So now a days when people say 'you're blind as a bad' I say 'wish I was' because yeah lol. I know, I am so IRRELEVANT yeah I know I am but sorry just throwing in something cause I like sharing random facts 😆

1st half was same old same old. Asha is pathetic. She stops everybody from saying a word to Dev.. while Dev can do as he pleases. He can slap Bojoy.. taunt him.. mock him.. throw Sona out of his life if and when he pleases.. but no one should dare speak a word to Dev about it.. why? Because he is Soha's father 🤪 She should just make a mandir for Dev babu.. where everyone can come and say sorry to him multiple times. Today Jatin had to say sorry to him.. for what? Taking Soha for outing and making her happy? 🤔

Yeah that's what irks me. Sona didn't get even get to celebrate Dev's Bday. But Asha made her understand and she did. So why jatin has to say sorry to Dev and even then Dev was sulking. I mean the double standards of cvs are so shocking. What they wanna show. Only Dev and ish have feelings and a past. The remaining whole world pls empathize with them.

I don't mind Asha. I think she is flawed, but is mild mannered not a doormat.

But why are makers making it look like Sona walked out of the marriage when things got a little tough? She was never treated as part of the family, asked to butt of our issues, constantly insulted by RR, dev couldn't do small things she asked of him( ex: become independent and do things for yourself) , the list goes on...

Dev never choose right or wrong, he chose mom and everyone else was just collateral damage, I think it hurt his Ego that she walked out on him despite not being there for Sona in the crucial times of the marriage. Not saying sona is faultless, but she never goes around accusing a Dev of their failed marriage. So... his perspective on their failed marriage is baffling.

Sona-Dev aren't compatible. They never were, and will never be, unless the makers change their characters drastically. Sona has a long term approach to her thinking and solving problems. Dev is the complete opposite. As evidenced by his S-R wedding issue. He took the blame now so the marriage could be saved, but what about tomorrow when something more serious happens? And did he not consider, the elders or S-R can handle the issue, they seem to be a mature couple.

Best character right now is Jatin. Smart. Cool. Calm. Collected. Sorted. HOT. I'd marry him in a heartbeat.

Agree completely.
@Asha- I think the problem is that she didn't have these flaws (hypocrisy/disloyalty) before but now she does. Which only means that they butchered her to get her in Dev PhanGurl Team. Which is even more infuriating.

@DevAkshi- I completely agree with your thoughts. Dev is really thick skulled. If he had 'introspected' like is being talked, he would have known that Sona worked hard for their relation. Every Single Time. And he didn't. But he is just blind. I can't understand him. Just like I can't understand what does Sona still find attractive in him.
But I guess this is necessary for Cvs. Like you said, Dev and Sona are not compatible unless they go through drastic change which Cvs have no intentions of giving. This is the only way, Albeit making no sense, to get them back together.

@SauRo- Exactly. Dev doesn't know A, B, C of marriage and neither is he an expert in the subject called Bose family. So he has no idea as to what would be reactions to the truth and what he should do. But of course, he has to be glorified.

@Jatin- Ditto.😆

I was always wondering how ISI brainwashing children to become terrorist.(just a reference, I don't want forum people jumping on me saying I called them terrorist). people are brainwashed themselves and not able to judge what is right/wrong. At any cost they want to attack on Sonakshi character.

Yeah I've read some post lauding Asha saying that now sona's arrogance will come down. And these are women. I was aghast for putting it lightly

See, the problem is that Sona (due to Asha's influence) is incapable of giving Dev a dose of his own medicine. Hence, her fate is forever to get insulted. No one can handle Dixits like Bijoy. Do you recall the aunty drama?

How long did it take Bijoy to put Dev in his place? Two seconds. That's how long.

Sonakshi continued to play games all day, but it didn't work. Bijoy walks in calling him nephew, and he is sorted in seconds.

Unfortunately, Sona listens to her mother way too much and never to her dad which is why she is where she is today. Even her marriage happened because of Asha's advice. If I were her, I will tell her, Mom, with all due respect, please let me handle my life on my own. I am not so young that I can't take decisions myself.

That was awesome Tia ...

Seee even if someone gets taste of thier own medicine they seem to be unchanged ... This Dev and Ishwari are so...

That's the reason so much is getting dragged ...small small incidents too shake it up ...even yesterday when Dev made an idiotic blame on Sona that her intentions will ruin the wedding .. and she wants to break her brother n sil relationship I was shocked ... was she Neha ... it was Neha who wanted that badly ...
And today the cooking and Soha not eating !!!

Ish mata and her family will defnly torture Sona see ..because some way the contract this mad man signed should come out ... Ishwari will get her own medicine of cheating her son and making Pre nuptials but her son has willfully signed off the rights of his own daughter...

We have to bear all the torture ...
