Precisely. Why did he hang around like useless furniture all day annoying people? It's not prison. He could have picked up Soha, take her and Golu for ice cream etc. For a man who keeps claiming that he only has one focus, he spends less time with his focus than interfering/annoying other family members.

Even at the Sangeet, he was busy sorting out Saurabh's life instead of dancing with his daughter like she asked him for.

Yet, when Jatin spends time with Soha, makes her happy, he gets annoyed.

Had hain, yaar!!!

If Dev wants to spend time with daughter then he should think more about his daughter, and less about how to poke nose in personal matters of bose family. He should go and pick soha from dance class, school etc and take her for outing instead of getting in argument with bijoy without rhyme or reasons.

Entire day he remains busy planning how to be sacrificing Gopi bahu during saurabh's marriage, when Jatin comes, out of no where he would go and start fighting with sonakshi . Not only he has problem with Jatin spending time with soha, he has problem with Jatin coming to bose house which shouldn't be his business. He is ex daamad, but acting like owner of that house? He is worried about Jatin's kaam dhandha, but not going to check his own kaam dhandha, entire day just keep fighting with one or another person at bose house. When soha is not at home he should get out of that place. Despite he was told to get out, he still remains in that house when soha is not there, and then claims 'mein yaha beti ke liye hoon'

Guddi, don't get me started on Dev. I don't know where people see decency in a man who constantly screams at a woman. When Bijoy screamed, it sounded too loud and indecent to people. But when Dev wakes up a woman to scream at her, does it sound like love songs to anyone?

Yesterday I read somewhere that people are complaining why Sona didn't say anything when Soha just went upstairs without eating his food? Sona didn't say anything to him at all after Asha's lecture. Saurabh clearly said that they decided not to talk to Dev at all. Even Bijoy didn't direct his comments and taunts to Dev.

And I ask you, why should she say anything for the guy who constantly mistreats her? The fact that she still had enough empathy to feel bad for him is his lucky stars' blessings.

I'd have wished a man like him to go to hell. But then I am a tit-for-tat kind of person.

I feel I have nothing to contribute to this wonderful discussions guys. So disheartened with constant downfall of a character and yet trying to establish him as the 'HERO'. Add one more fan to his fanlist - Ronita. 😆

It could have been a learning experience for Dev that when one finds his/her parent being in the wrong side, how one needs to take stand for truth and transparency which automatically pulls the loved ones towards you. Ronita could easily resort to Asha and Dev's plans and kept it hidden to prevent her mother being painted black in Saurabh's eyes. But when there is brutal honesty involved, the outcome is always fruitful 👍🏼. But did Dev learn from it or should I say CVs intend to FOCUS towards it ? No, their sole intention seems to be making Dev as victim 🤣 🤣 I mean honestly after all the K-dramas where every hero pays for their mistakes and repents, I cannot digest this crap. Dev feeling sad on somebody else making her beti happy oh how typical of Dixits aint it 😆. Only I can make you happy, only I can make you hurt, oh the world revolves around I, me, myself. 🤣 I am happy to see Soha-Jatin bond unaffected by this pettiness and ugliness. Let them cherish their bond. This time Dev's manipulations like destroying Rithwik's career by cancelling loans etc will not work. Oh sweet lord Karma seems to have taken out its chulaah to burn Dev 😆.

Edit ?!?!?!?!

As I mentioned Natasha, I felt bad for him for two minutes until I recalled what he and his mother did to Sona. Then I felt immense satisfaction. Of course, Bhaiya doesn't think they did anything wrong and hence is not able to compare the two situations. But that's exactly why I like to watch him in pain. I am sadist? No. I don't like to watch innocent people suffer. I am pro-justice. I like to see justice being served.

In short, Vibg, Bhaiya is an overgrown spoiled brat who will never grow up beyond his selfishness.

I am just waiting for Sona to hand his ass back to him.

I ask you this though. When Bijoy even whispers, Asha can hear him. But when Dev shouts at her daughter, why can't she hear then? I wonder if she hears them, but ignore them. I am not understanding why Sona and Bijoy's two different tone of voice carries farther than Bhaiya's deep voice? Can someone explain to me?

Agreed, agreed, agreed. Ever since Jatin entered, I had been saying that Dev needs Jatin more than Sonakshi needs Jatin. But unfortunately, he always gets into competition with men. No wonder even with 7 years of nothing-to-do idle time, he still could not manage to make one single friend.

If Dev even sit down and listen to Jatin, he will find him a gem of of a person. But he is threatened by Jatin's goodness. There is nothing he can criticise him for or make fun of him with so he keeps asking why he comes to Bose house.

I always wondered why chauvinist men make fun of feminist, modern, liberated men. That's because the hollow masculinity they flaunt can easily be exposed by feminist men who don't need to prove that they are real men because they are real men in every sense of the word.

Dev is in dire need of a friend. I understand why he is insecure. He has lost out on 6 years of his daughter's life and he feels Soha might end up replacing her papa with Jatin. And his messed up feelings w.r.t Sona also come to the fore and it makes him lose his head. Which is something I dont fault him for. But then, initially i dint fault Ishwari for her insecurity either. All of us have those moments where we feel terrible/insecure. But what defines you is how to chose to act on those thoughts/ what you eventually learn from it. Ishwari, unfortunately, let her insecurity get the better of her and screwed everyone's life. And the writers eventually destroyed her character. So for a change, I'd really like to see Dev introspecting and not let the insecurity get the better of him. I really wish the writers let Dev bond with Jatin. At this point, that will do him a world of good. Sona with her own issues (and their current toxic relationship status) is not the right person to go to. Jatin is non-judgmental and seems like a normal, stable guy (atleast so far unless the CVs choose to ruin him). And god knows, Dev is in dire need of a non-judgmental friend who can understand his issues and at the same time, help him fight them. If the writers had enough time to write something substantial instead of focusing on mindless romance and tashan between the leads, this can pave way for a nice track where Dev embraces Jatin's role in his daughter's life and lets her be. And at the same time, creates his own little world with Soha. Jatin is not a competitor and no one can take away the fact that Dev is Soha's father. Thanks to Dev's own issues and effed up understanding of the situation, he is unable to see things clearly. Jatin was the only one who understood Dev's pain and apologised for it.

What I would like to see is Dev having a heart to heart conversation with Jatin and him embracing his role in Soha's life. And Soha eventually tasting whatever Dev cooked for her. But what the CVs might show is another mindless fight between Dev-Sona with no story development in the long run coupled with some mindless romance. Or worse, justify Ishwari by making every single parent insecure and crazy on this show 😆

P.S. The choti is unbearable. So is the bulging biceps with the tiny t-shirt. I cant wait for Shaheer to finish shooting his film just so he becomes more presentable.

Krpkab detox works wonders for my mood😆I haven't been reading the updates either but was missing you all and from what I read today, I am glad I have stepped away from this show. Finally binge watched another desi show with repeat value which I loved so much because of how beautifully the growth in relationship & characters were portrayed.

Hope you are all doing well.😊

I personally don't think even in camp they had any useful communication. Simply because you can't have communication with a wall and Dev can might as well be a wall considering his effort to have any conversation.

He just wants to whine and cry about what went through but refuse to listen anyone else. That is not a conversation since conversation is a two-way communication.

Originally posted by: gaurimisha

Actually during the summer camp, for a short while, they did have some conversation.
Then their families come into the picture and both lose it completely. They actually try their best to prove the lies they have been dishing to their respective parents eventually ending up in unnecessary bickering and tashan.

Any or all of the predictions you mentioned below can be possible. Because what CVs are showing can't be explained by any form of logic.

Originally posted by: NBT-BV

I have many doubts and may be CVs will bring the truth during the one year extension.

1. Asha is the second wife of Bijoy and Sona is not her daughter. On the other hand saurabh is not Bijoys son.

2. Dev's father was a crook and criminal - accomplish of khatri.

3. As I had said some time back - Soha is Jatins daughter who replaced the kids when Sona gave birth to a dead baby and Jatin's wife died during childbirth. Onlt Jatin and the doctor/ nurse know the fact. - don't ask me a logical question about the manipulative traits of Soha - Its Cvs domain

4. Dev got into an accident after sona left him and bcoz of that he had selective amnesia.

5. Asha has taken a Vow that she'll spoil the life of Sona bcoz Bjoy never trated her son well.

Hope CVs are truthful and don't have the selective amnesia which every character in the show has😆😆

BTW - I have yet to come across a single CV who can create a consistent set of different characters. All I see is the same traits passed on to every character in a round robin fashion 😆😆

I agree. I really want to see Bijoy's reaction when he finds out the truth that Asha had hidden from him. I want him to question Asha if this is how she thinks he deserves to be treated for always loving, respecting and trusting her and I definitely want him to question her what value she places in her family.

And I also want Dida to ask Asha if she thought that her mother-in-law doesn't deserve to know what's going on.

Because Asha has started to take for granted all the love, respect and trust everyone places on her. And she has to answer what right did she get to take solo decision about her family without informing anyone.

She bragged about her being a good wife to Sona, let's see what she has to say then.

Lovely update Tia. Some highlights for me was Ronita coming to Saurabh's house and telling him the truth. This is some relationship goal! 👏 The expert in relationships, Asha should take some tip from her would be daughter-in-law regarding this. Hat's off to Ronita who is still not married to Saurabh but shows implicit faith in him.

I really feel bad for Bijoy and Ronita's Dad, both of them clueless that their wives are keeping such a secret from them. No respect for the head of the families, must say!

Bijoy is a true Bong! Can't say no to good food. 😃
