I was watching that scene at night yesterday and the same thoughts came across my mind.

DevAkshi had some expectations from eachother. They are not taking it out on anybody else but each other.

And that's what should actually happen. All of it should come out. Whether in the form of fights, arguments or anything. But they need to talk about everything. They need to tell each other, what all they have gone through.

And i know many must have been irritated with the fights in yesterday's episode. But it was needed is what i feel. It's not that Dev don't know about his mother's role in the separation. But it's the anger that has piled up in these 7 years. He already knew his mother made those prenup papers, but it didn't bother him as he expected Sonakshi to never leave him. And similarly Sonakshi expected Dev to be by her side always. But nothing of that sort happened. As the situation was not in their hands.

It's not that they are not aware of their faults. They have accepted it infront of others. Sona infront of Jotin and Asha, Dev infront of Soha. But they'll not accept it to eachother, because of the expectations they had.

The way Dev has immense anger in him, Sonakshi too is equally angry and she needs to take it out on him. Yesterday it was Dev and in the future episodes it'll be Sonakshi. They need to know the sufferings and pain the other person has gone through for 7 years. It was not easy for either of them. I am looking forward to how and when will they take it all out... The way Dev yesterday told Sonakshi she has become the old Dev Dixit, this may act as a trigger for her and her outburst will happen. I really want to see that.

Till the time they'll not know the other side of story, things will never sort out between them. I feel yesterday's episode was just a stepping stone for the future track.

This doesn't mean what blames they'll put on eachother will be correct. They'll behave irrational. They'll put the entire blame on the other person. This is how these 7 years have made them towards the other person.

Dev sought of forced her for the infertility treatment 😕 And Dev already knew Sona was trying hard to fit in his house but he shunned her multiple times.They really need to rectify his character he seems to have amnesia

Awesome interpretation. Now that you have brought out the link between yesterday's episode and episode 148, everything is crystal clear. Each other's expectations and the non fulfilment of these expectations is the barb that is hurting them.

Excellent! Irrespective to all others involved in their lives, you summed up really well what broke them.

My only differing view is with your line @Bold above. Clearly Dev knew that Sona wasn't accepted in the Dixit family. Isn't that why when Sona's pregnancy is announced he is all thrilled and says "Ma, Sona and badam ka halwa, kya hogaya?" He also says "Ma kudh beja thumhare saath kapde badalne" Episode 205 clearly shows what they think of their family.
