Ananya, you have wrote down so beautifully a father's emotion. A father who could not tolerate a tear drop in his darling daughter's eyes. That's why despite Bijoy's rudeness and shouting and annoying behaviour, I can't hate him nor put him on same level as Ishwari.

Bijoy would have loved Dev forever had he made his daughter happy. Ishwari hates Sonakshi because she made her son happy. That's why there is no comparison there.
