Restless mind

Ever since I saw todays episode , my mind is very restless because I feel Dev and Sonakshi are going to have another break up...and this time ...again Dev is going to loose not just Sonakshi but Soha too...And I feel Sonakshi will marry Jatin...reasons for me to feel that way ...

1) PINKY PROMISE !! When ever Dev makes a promise to the Bose family or any of their members...then we are bound to see a separation track...we have seen this twice before...
2) Sonkshi's best friend Jatin who loves her deeply .. Support for Jatin at Sonakshi's house.
3) Scheming GKB and Vicky
4) Insecure Ishwari , emotionally blackmailing Dev about Golu missing him
5) Over protective Father in law Bijoy
6) And 1 year extension will also be another reason which makes me feel that Dev will loose Soha and Sonakshi again .

Now with so many troubles do you all think Dev and Sonkaksi's love will survive ??

Hi Ashwathy. I understand what you are saying, but Sonakshi will never marry Jatin. This is because of she herself. If in season 1, Dev's character was shown intricately with all his flaws, in season 2, it is Sonakshi's character which will be dissected. This process has already started, but was more pronounced today.

From the beginning, although it was not shown explicitly, it was clear from Bijoy;s words and Sonakshi's actions that she has a problem with accepting her flaws. For her it is all about perfection and being the best and always achieving her goals. she was constantly told that she was smart and intelligent and her decisions were accepted without question, like her accepting Dev's job offer or deciding to quit or join again etc. All these times, Bijoy told her that any decision she takes they will support her and what is good for her is good for the family.

If Bijoy inculcated this idea or Sonakshi being perfect with no faults, Dev fueled it by saying "you are always right Ms. Bose". Now this "being right and perfect" has taken such deep root in Sonakshi that she does not even think through what the consequences of her actions, decisions or words might be. She assumes that she is always right and even when she makes mistakes fails to admit or accept it. Like in the forest when she tells that the return path that Dev chose was wrong or ignoring Dev's suggestion to live separately opted for this weekly shuttling between the houses. In both these situations Sonakshi did not consider the consequences. In the forest, she got lost and hurt herself. Not with her idea of 7 days here and there, she is imposing both on her family and Dixit family. She is also not thinking of how it will affect Suhaana.

Today too she failed to even listen to what Dev was saying regarding the sleeping arrangements. All he asked was for her to wait in guest room so that he could make Soha sleep, then he would go there and Sonakshi could return to her room. But Sonakshi was not even interested in this practical solution. All she focused on was that "Dev is asking me to leave my room". She has reached a point where for her it is her way or the highway.

But this needs to happen and there is a possibility that Sonakshi might accept to marry Jotin due to external factors. But the actual marriage will not happen. Till date we have seen Dev admitting his mistakes and flaws and his part in the breakup, but Sonakshi has not done so. Her doing what she is doing is very much needed for her to come to the stage where she sees what her pride and obsession to perfection has led her.

Jotin till now has seen one side of Sona where she has taken good decisions, stood by her family and taken care of them. But Dev is the one who knows Sonakshi from all angles and not just one angle. Also he loves Sonakshi as a whole, not just one side of her. Only when Sonakshi accepts her faults and flaws and understand Dev's unconditional love for her, will she get back with Dev. And the way she is going now, pretty soon she will reach that point.

Agreed...but what about GKB and her red's planning ...and above all Ishwari's insecurities ...I feel they will add fuel to the fire to create another misunderstanding...
I don't think Dev and Sonakshi's love is so strong to stand the storm the Dixit family is going to stage..

7 yrs back they were totally and deeply in love with each other ..they failed Ishwai /GKB/Vicky won...Now they don't even have that deep love...what connects them is ONLY Soha...how do you think they stand the storm??

There will be a breakup... but it wont be Devaskhi breakup... but Dev- Soha relationship due to dixits poisioning soha's mind and she starting to distance herself from Dev.

I dont think Sona will breakup with Dev... well they are not actually patched up yet... but even if Dev shows 10% commitment that he will stand for Sona and herside of family infront of Ishwari... I am sure Sona will be willing to fight the rest of the battle herself.. but Dev needs to support her atleast to some extent.

Soha will come around but only after Sona and Dev patchup ...I dont think Sona will marry Jatin under any circumstances... that is not her character.. she cant be forced to do anything that she doesnt want. She is doing all that Soha is asking for only because subconsciously she wants to have that happy family she always dreamt about

I think there is a lot of cover in the 1 yr ... i am sure all the sisters will be back with their own set of problems and there will be other tracks.

Lavanya , I hope what ever you predicted comes true. For once I want Dev to come out of his attitude of ignoring the flaws of his family members...I want him to accept that his family members have never thought about his happiness ...and that they are very selfish...including his mom...

Its very evident that he knows but he somehow is not acknowledging the fact...

My fear has always been if Ishwari and team will break up Soha and Sonakshi's relationship...and then again she will be kicked out...there by Ishwari winning her grand daughter and son...

And also because of which Sonakshi might end with Jatin...

Agreed Tia, I hate this arrangement ...initially I thought this was done to make Soha realize the reason behind her parents breakup...but after see the past few episodes I felt ...it is going to lead to another breakup/heartbreak...rather a repeat of what happened in the previous season...and for us more tearjerkers .

I do think Sona will agree to marry Jatin she is melting and her breakdown is near so under some circumstances she might agree to marry Jatin.I don't think this will really affect Dev Soha's bond as they are trying to keep it separate.This time Dev has to really try hard to win over Sona.This time the patchup itself is going to very difficult.

Ashwathy, chill.. Sona will never marry Dev.. at least given what her character is shown to be. She loves Dev and is the biggest duffer to not realise it. Dev too will not allow her to marry anyone. If she even wants to, do not worry, i will fly down to the KRPKAB site and have a face off with the writers!!

so chill dear. this story is about Sona and Dev.. and all else are all sideys or stepneys.. nothing more.
