More rules established by the CVs :

After marriage, girls shd not think abt their parents or maayka, shd not bother abt the dignity of her parents or siblings, she shd not care abt whether her parents are getting proper respect from damaad, ...but she shd completely respect every single relative of her husband, even his chacha ke phoophi ki behen ki nanad ki chachi 🤪

Now look at Elena, the ideal Bahu of the Dixits, she totally abandoned her maayka people to show loyalty to her sasural ...even though she surely had an inkling that her evil saas and husband had a hand in getting rid of her cousin sister, of rendering her maayka people homeless, still ideal Bahu Elena remained quiet and dutifully produced a son and heir for her evil in laws. Such an adarsh bahu 👏

Like Elena, Sonakshi shd have been extremely grateful for marrying THE DEV DIXIT, God's gift to women, she shd have serenely accepted that she would always be last in the list of his priorities, that she will be an obedient slave and victim of her control freak saas, nasty Maami ji and her frustrated nanad, ...she shd have accepted that she would be a 2nd class citizen in her sasural and she didnt deserve any special place in Dev's family or his home. She was the outsider who they were allowing to stay in their home so she shd have been utterly grateful just like Elena.🥱

Yes he calls her feminist because he doesnt know the meaning of feminist ... Feminist never have said that women are better than men..infact they fight for equality . Hence Sonakshi's statment ..what is wrong with feminism and that she predicted him again !!

Negative trait is Chauvinism. This term is not just associated to men , it is also used for women - female chauvinism or male chauvinism . People in the above mentioned group thinks their respective gender is better than the other

Example to understand the concept

**When Dev said Sonakshi should come and stay with him at his house and he is not going to stay at her house - Male Chauvinism
**Sonakshi responded saying that... why should she come , he should come and stay at her place and she is not going to stay at his house - Famale Chauvinism
**Then Sonakshi says 7 days at Bose house and & 7days Dixit house - Thats Feminism !!

People have always misused the term feminism...feminist have always fought for equality devoid of gender...a true feminist would never disrespect a man or his importance in society. In fact they believe in coexistence

Sonakhi is a true Feminist !! She has proved it time and again. She never took Dev's right of being their childs father. In fact she fought for him ...she went against her fathers wishes...not just for Soha but also for Dev. If she was a female Chauvinist she could have got her daughter to dislike her father..its very easy for a mother to do that ...but she never did that ...she kept her fears and insecurities away to fight for Dev's right to have their daughter in his life...

Are the CVs actually unaware of the term feminist or are they genuinely trying to bring in the average Indian 'innocently chauvinistic' male perspective out in open and thus help us get a good laugh at the 'ignorance'. Just thinking aloud🤓

The word and the social movement being mocked on national television does leave a bad taste. I am not sure how many women statistically bully or opress or in general be unfair to men. But I have certainly had more experience with the other way around.

I have had a more fair share of women using /displaying feminism in right spirit than the other way round. However the right spirit itself is mocked and perceived as a bias against men..oh the irony.
And please just ignore me. A Monday afternoon with lesser workload does it to me...

Does Feminist movement need a re-branding exercise? I think yes...

Dude your post was so much apt. Whenever dev spouted dialogue you are feminist as "gaali" I wanted to smack him.i guess even writers are not aware of it .They think feminist =girls are better than boys🤢 so much of stupidity .CV's should do proper research before spouting dialogue like this. I will make separate post about speech of Barack obama, how he essays and considered himself as feminist.

What you are saying is so true. What Sona is doing is in the what feminism embodies. She has been fair to Dev inspite of all the rubbish he dished out. Yet, all her actions are being mocked or being used to indicate that she was wrong to leave Dev in the first place. Why is it wrong for a woman to leave a weak man? Or to leave a man who harms her family and mutilates her self respect? Or in Sona's case to leave a man who asked her to leave? He did tell her to go and was not even willing to her what his MOTHER had said. Th

And I will totally read that. My question to Dev is simple: How willing were you to ask Ranveer to leave his family behind and make your sister happy? What happened then? Did Ranveer not have a family, a mother to look after? That was okay because Neha was your sister? How willing would Dev to see his daughter Soha suffer? So why should Bijoy see this happening to Sona again?
